You will need a electrician to install it
The cooker was delivered on time, a day earlier than expected, so the house wasn’t ready. So we asked the delivery team to just leave it in the hallway. On opening the package, which looked undamaged , you could clearly see that there was damage to the, top right corner of the side panel, plus the lower side of the, said panel, bows out. The back edge also showed signs of a rippling affect. So was not too pleased.( see photos)With the electrician coming, we decided that we would just fit the cooker in the kitchen, after checking it was just cosmetic damage and that the internals off the cooker were ok. Lucky you don’t see the damage side.As for the cooker, it looks great from the front. I’ve been using a single plug-in induction hob for awhile, and this is a blessing to be able to cook four pots at the same time if need be. I also readprevious write ups. That this product is made in Poland. And ironically it was Polish sausages we had at our first meal. All in all, it seems good, heat’s in no time, just be wary but you need pots that stick to a magnet for it to work

Cooker
Arrived as stated. Delivery by the two guys, was excellent. Works a treat once you can get to the connection point. It is badly laid out, in my opinion. The only complaint.

Not built to last
Bought this 3 years ago. One month after warranty ran out the door fell off and I needed to fix it myself, one year later 3 of the induction hobs stopped working and was quoted £400 to mend it. Now need to replace whole oven and hob

Where's The Solar Grill?
As cookers go, there's not much to dislike. It looks good and works well. If it was described correctly it would have been given 5 stars. However, one of its selling points was that it has a Solarplus grill - it doesn't (or at least mine doesn't). No great hardship so I've decided to keep it. On a plus side the description claims that it doesn't have a light in the top oven/grill - it does! And yes, I checked the model number on the packaging before opening. After finding a conventional grill element, I checked the numbers again. Generally, I've not had a cooker where some parts have lasted any more 5 years, especially things like oven/grill elements so it will be interesting to see when or if we suffer the first fault. To note: Do the registration on-line only - don't call Hotpoint to register it for the 10 year parts guarantee. They send you an email reply to show details of registration but it only states 1 year parts and labour. I made the mistake of phoning to clarify that it should have 10 year parts, They did confirm this but also tried to sell me insurance. As I refused, they phoned two more times, one to for an automated review (sometimes normal) and the next call was from a completely different number (possible scam) trying to sell me insurance. After I accused them of harassment, they hung up.
