Miller ML00895 Lpr-100 Respirator W/Filters, Medium/Large Electric

This thing works very well, even with a full beard. I work on garbage trucks and was cutting bent metal off a compactor blade that had trash lodged in the nooks and crannies of it. Smoke was pouring off it and I only occasionally caught a whiff of burning trash. It fits under my Jackson hood with auto-darkening shield.

If you’re a man, buy the large size. This is a fantastic piece of safety gear. If you need a low profile respirator, these are comfortable and work very well. Make sure to buy extra filters with it, and change them out when it becomes more difficult to draw air through the respirator.

Extremely effective for particulate as well as vapors. They fit under all my welding hoods.

This mask is in my opinion the best option on the market for the price point utilizing the half mask shape and size. It does a pretty good job when I'm welding and I have to trust the filters on what they claim to keep out. Things to know : Pros: 1) Affordable 2) Fairly comfortable 3) Easy to replace filters Cons: 1) Straps are "fixed" with no quick release like my other ventilators which becomes frustrating over time 2) The fit can be iffy. When looking down directly I feel that the seal can be compromised which is unfortunate when welding. Often you are looking down. 3) Does not stand up to longevity of comfort compared to full respirators, in my opinion but still not bad.

I like this breather. It fits very well and is so comfortable that I can use it on the shop for hours and don't notice it. 3M filters for it are easily found and are a simple simple snap to replace with new ones.

Works very well under a welding helmet

Mu husband works with a solvent mist almost everyday as his job in a precision machine shop. His lungs were taking a beating as a result - coughing, wheezing, shortness of breath. His employer stated no respirator was necessary, refused to purchase him one and instead handed out paper face masks hospitals use during flu season. Paper + mist aren't a good combination and their don't do any good. So, he bought this one, thinking anything was better than nothing or a paper flu mask. It works wonderfully! In just a few days, he could tell the difference - less coughing and wheezing, and his breathing is starting to improve! The other guys at the shop asked where he bought it and are buying one for themselves. His boss got miffed about it, spouting off about having to do " OSHA classes and training" if people were going to start wearing respirators lol! Whatever. People kind of need their lungs and this respirator does the trick. The cost is more than reasonable and we highly recommend this product!.

One of the best masks I've ever used. Very comfortable fit and good filtration. I use it when wood working and lawn mowing and must say it does an excellent job.

Sweet mask. I can use my welding face shield over it.

Been running the Miller P100 for a while now in the shop. Fits solid under my hood, doesn’t get in the way, and I can breathe easy even when the place is smoked up from flux core or grinding dust. Way better than the cheap masks I used to grab. Straps are decent, stays put when I’m sweating and moving around. Doesn’t fog up my lenses either, which is a big plus. Filters last longer than I thought they would. Only downside is it gets a bit warm if you’re burning rod for hours, but that’s kinda the deal with any respirator. Overall, strong buy if you actually care about your lungs. I’d give it a 5 if it was just a touch cooler, but 4.8 feels right.

This is a good product. I bought the medium/large, should have got the large. Had it on and off for 6 hours and it works perfect.

I haven't used it yet except to fit it. It fits very nicely and I can tell the seal is very good. The quality and miller brand name speaks for itself. Great product, reasonable shipping (shipped during a covid lockdown and over the Xmas holidays reasonably quick enough)

The box it comes in states its made by GVS for Miller. It even gives the GVS part numbers used. They are identical in every way, including the straps. Save yourself some money and buy the GVS mask. The filters are exactly the same, easier to find and cheaper to buy through GVS.
