No instructions
I guess I will try to figure out how to assemble,If I can't I will be returning. I got the aluminum one, seems well made, fairly heavy.I will update review later.Did anyone receive a second one after entering promo code? Update. Impossible to put string on without a loader. Buy a loader stringer. Bolt went clean through 12 inch thick target backed with 4Ćdoubled carpet at 100ft lost both bolts. I'm pleased

It works and leaves you options to tinker with.
Itās about the cheapest option you can buy. Shoots unbelievably well. Sights are as basic as you can imagine. Itās tough to cock with the rope tool but it works. I spent an hour on this thing with a 41/2ā grinder and a belt sander fixing the ergonomics and functionality. It has been countless hours of fun and I do recommend it for a low cost but effective option.

Money well spent
Was looking for something fun to shoot. Believe me when I tell you! This is a blast to shoot. We don't do anything but shoot at targets with it and so for, we have been having a great time. Growing a bond with someone over something as simple as this is money well spent!!!

!!Not safe!! String breaks easily.
Works good, the string came off just after it was loaded (I'm guessing it wasn't quite snapped in all the way) just something to watch out for, because it could hurt if it hit you.---Edit----This is not safe! We have gone through 3 strings. They all have broke within the first couple days, and someone could really get hurt if the string hit them when it breaks! I thought it was from.not being snapped in but after it broke the first time he was very careful and cautious to make sure it was all done properly. I would NOT suggest buying this to anyone.

Works well but takes a lot of effort to cock even with a rope cocking device
I had visions of hours of fun target shooting and then discovered that it is very hard to cock even with a rope cocker. I have to bend over to get the cocker on and then stand up while pulling the ropes. I have long standing lower back trouble which means I can get off maybe a dozen shots before having to give it up for the day. The crossbow works well and is plenty powerful. The serving on the string started coming loose after a short while despite using the wax stick on the rails. Get a stringer. It is close to impossible to string it without one but stubborn me managed to eventually get it strung anyway. I toyed with the idea of using my low RPM, very powerful electric drill to fashion an electric cocker but never quite got to it.

Best budget 150 pound cross bow!
The media could not be loaded. I love this crossbow! I did add a cvlife scope to make it awesome. I recommend buying a stringer to make assembly easy, and a rope cocker to make loading a breeze. The price is a bargain $ 109.99 . Buy extra bolts you will need them.Buy this and you will be pleased š

OK for the money but...
The instructions are almost without value as the parts indicated do not match what you get-namely one adhesive pad instead of two, a plastic insert that takes place of the missing pad, and instruction with text and photos that are seriously lacking.Stringing the bow is difficult and the photo shows my method whick worked well.Cocking the bow is really hard on the hands so I have ordered a cable to aid in this. You only get 2 bolts so order additional.I have yet to shoot the bow but as others have said the sight looks to be crude at best. An upgrade will be necessary.
