It is still to move the arm, but I's rather have that than it be breakable and feel flimsy. It's attached to a cart we keep near the users bed. We use it for 11" & a 12" tablets. The 12"is the biggest it will hold. The bracket has an open space that the user run the carge cord through while using.

I really liked the Gooseneck Tablet Holder while it lived, but the device broke after only six weeks of use. I would have expected this product to last longer then that. The only suggestion would be to make sure you don’t bend the goose neck too close to the top of the mounting clamp assembly.

This product works very well to support your iPad. Are use it for reading and watching YouTube in bed. The clamps will easily expand to support by 12.9 inch iPad. In fact they will expand almost another 4 inches, to about 14 inches. Although I would say the iPad pretty much maxs out it’s the weight capability. As is clearly noted in the manufactures description of the product, your device will bounce around quite a bit if you touch it, but it stays steady and does not shift positions when it is left untouched. It does take some careful bending of the support arm, this is best done from a standing position with pretty strong hands. I have another Lamicall support, which is very similar, it has a more flexible white portion at the end. That white portion is more flexible and would be great for a smart phone or similar size device. Unfortunately, the flexible white portion does not well support an iPad, I have gone through two of them, and both broke. While the flexible arm on this product is sturdier, the attachment base is not. While, it does tighten down well on a variety of thicknesses. I found that it shifted around as I used and adjusted the arm. I have it mounted on a sturdy, wooden clamp, pony clamp, and I have drilled a hole through the base of the support and put a small screw with a washer to hold the arm base in a fixed position.

First off, the gooseneck is impossible to bend with one hand, hence the instructions inside to use two hands. You will need some real hand/forearm strength to maneuver this thing. The base/stem is cheap plastic. In just three minutes I was frustrated that no matter how I tried to work with the stem it was bending the cheap plastic. Only a matter of time before it shatters. The stem is also the clamp screw. Made of plastic. Go figure. Even if that were not the case, this thing is bouncy as heck. No way these reviews for this piece of garbage being used with the 12.9" iPad are real. Total trash. It is ugly, extremely difficult to work with, flimsy, wobbly, and just not worth the cost. This thing should not even be sold at a dollar store. It has however taught me that any gooseneck holder is likely to be a piece of garbage as well. Avoid this.

Great product but unfortunately the “tightening screw” portion above the clamp is not very strong. Benefits: 1. Sturdy as an all get out, 2. Holds electronics really well, 3. Ridged shape that holds form… Negatives: 1. Sometimes too damn rigid, 2. “Screw on” portion breaks when using too much pressure. I will reach out to the company and update my review once I see if they offer me an idea to fix this, or a different solution. EDIT 10/10/2023 Update: the company was super sweet and helped provide a discount on a way more updated version of their product that is even stronger (my model was outdated and out of warranty). I gave this review now 5 stars. Fantastic customer service. (Included new photo in review, seen at the end.)

I'm not sure how to rate this. I cannot use it. It is very rigid and hard to bend. The positive is that you can customize and re-customize it for a variety of configurations. It seems very stable and the clamp works well. But it's so difficult to bend into the desired shape that it's a semi-permanent customization until you go through the effort of reconfiguring it. I wanted it on my bed to hold the iPad while allowing me to dynamically adjust the position and angle. It won't work for that. So it's a five star as a semi-permanent configuration, where you only readjust it to change the configuration. For example the edge of a table or desk. It's a one star as an adjustable holder for a chair or bed. I averaged it to a three star.

Everything works except the clamp which is plastic and breaks easy, not strong enough to hold if moved or adjusted.

Excellent product, just as described. Great quality, arrived quickly and well packaged. Very satisfied with my purchase. Highly recommended! Ive used it for my kindle, tablet, phone and it holds great!
