Brake Bleeder and MORE
I bought this to bleed the brakes on my Dodge Ram when I upgraded the rotors and pads and found it to be so easy to use that I exchanged the brake fluid in my wife's Honda too. It truly makes brake maintenance a one person job and I didn't even use the automatic fluid adder (the rate of fluid transfer can be adjusted so that you can stand at the reservoir and fill as needed while you watch the old fluid in the clear tubing change to the color of the new, clean fluid). There are loads of YouTube videos showing people using the machine so that is a good way to start if you are hesitant to purchase the bleeder. Now for my favorite part of this machine. Look in the picture and you will see a clear, flexible plastic tube attached to a rigid plastic tube. Using this setup I have effortlessly flushed the power steering systems of our cars and changed the oil in all the yard care machines. With this setup and pair of cheap nitrile gloves I did three small engine oil changes with not a drop spilled or greasy hands. Pour whatever used/dirty fluid is in the Mityvac container into an appropriate container and recycle. Everything about this bleeder is quality. The plastic parts are thick and sturdy and the metal parts are chrome plated and solid. You will need a decent compressor to use this. I use a 25 gallon compressor and it runs continuously while I am using the bleeder, but it works fine and provides decent vacuum. I don't think I would try it with anything smaller though...pancake type compressors probably would not work. In summary: Easy to use Performs many tasks related to draining fluids Allows jobs to be performed with nearly zero mess/cleanup Requires a decent compressor Lots of video available showing people using the bleeder Automatic fluid feeder included, but I have not used it

Outstanding!
An excellent piece of kit. Very east to work with. A real income enhancer. Complete with all the attachments and adapters you may need for all common jobs. Makes an annoying two-person bleed job fast and easy. Great for spotting collapsed and restricted lines. Vacuum is strong and easy to control. Doesn't need a lot of air. Very quiet. Only caution is that it will draw out a lot of fluid quickly. Check levels often or use the refill attachment (can be very messy) for large jobs.

Nice little tool
Ok, I got this witn somewhat low expectaions. I was very happy when it worked so well. It was easy to use, and worked like a charm. I bled the hydrolic cluch on my classic mini cooper in about 5 minutes, on my own, with no air bubbles or "oops...do it again" moments. Just hook it up as discribed in the directions, connect the air line in, and bleed away. I haven't used it for my brakes yet, but the cluch was so easy, I am considering it just to feel more secure about having new fluid in all of the lines. Also, I didn't use the attachment that keeps the resevar full, I just stopped and checked once or twice when I saw how much fluid was coming through. Super Easy, Super Effective. Great Buy!! You would spend 3 times this to get the job done at a shop, and twice this on asprin trying to get it right the old fasioned way...If you like working on cars, buy this, you won't regret it. One more great feature is that you can use it for just about any fluid. It has no electric pump so flamibles are not a problem. I drained the gas tank on my 1969 Honda CB350 in about 3 min so I could make some repairs...very cool!! One note, you must have a compressor to use this tool.

Great Unit" Worth Every Dollar !!
"Truly" is a one Man Job ,and had NO issues with the unit during the bleeding process . One thing I did do, was a modification to the bleeding tube because the supplied adapters did not have a air tight fit so I cut about 2' piece of clear rubberized tubing and put it in the tube adapter and the tag end fit snugly around the bleeder fitting , I realize it will draw air from around the threaded fitting but that can be minimized with the silicone grease . The refill bottle that mounts on your reservoir worked Great as well ,after mounting it on I adjusted so it would always keep it at the full mark . All in All the MityVac saved "" alot "" of time and was a shier delight to add to my arsonial . UPDATE""had this now just over two years, and have done several brake jobs and it is still going strong with no issues and has reduced my time significantly. If you do your own brake jobs and do not have one" you do not know what you're missing ! Highly recommend this too you. Adding grease around all threaded Spickets is very important to minimize air flow into the line.

Quality tool
I'm impressed with this tool. It is simple, well built, and effective. The tank is thick plastic; the chromed air inlet fitting swivels to all angles; the handle and air valve fit your hand. I especially like the quick disconnect fitting for the suction lines. Because the vehicle was far from my shop, I used a small portable compressor (1 gallon tank, .75 cfm). Since the mityvac uses 4.5cfm at 90 psi my compressor couldn't keep up, and the pressure rapidly dropped to 50 psi. Even at this pressure brake fluid was flowing. I paused to close the wheel bleeder valve and the Mityvac air valve to let the compressor catch up, then bled again. It was not ideal, but a small compressor can be used. I liked being able to suck old fluid and debris from the master cylinder and refilling with clean fluid before bleeding the brakes. The attachment to automatically keep the master cylinder full worked for me because I had clearance above the reservoir. Because brake fluid absorbs moisture, car makers recommend flushing brake and clutch lines every 3 years. This tool makes it easy.

Works great to bleed air from the brake system. No need to have a second person stomping on the brake pedal to bleed air anymore. It also works great to flush the brake fluid out of a vehicle as per recommended maintenance. Well built tool. You do need a high volume air compressor for this to work best.

Works extremely well although the price is double what it should be when compared to other vacuum leader models

This product is well worth its value. As someone learning to do DIY mechanic stuff, I found this incredibly easy to use and made my first brake job extremely easy and simple. If you're doing this alone and you have an air compressor, I highly recommend this tool. It's so easy to use and can be applied to multiple other fluid jobs. Most importantly, it feels like a quality tool and is simple enough in design that I have no doubts it'll last me for years to come.
