Although the instructions were fairly clear, a video I found was a lot more helpful. I wiped off the screen just using a microfiber cloth and them attempted to proceed - FAIL. It did not seem to want to adhere to the screen. I then used the cleaner and cloth that are in the kit and that seems to be the trick to get it to adhere. I had a hard time with bubbles and have some advice for dealing with them. Using a card did not work but lifting the protector and using my thumbs and palms to push them out did and seemed to be the best way to push out the bubbles. Unfortunately, one dust particle managed to sneak in.This screen protector is very nice for using with the Apple pencil and I don't feel like I need any kind of special screen protector to make it easier to draw or write. My iPad is about two years old and the screen on it is awful as far as fingerprints go. After a couple of hours of working it is absolutely filled with them and it takes awhile to clean the screen. With that in mind, this screen protector is wonderful because it is super resistant to fingerprints and the oils from them. On that point alone I would sure recommend it. My only problem is that I can't get the bubbles out around the edges but they don't interfere with seeing what's on the screen. Other than that I have no complaints, and that is more of an aggravation than a complaint.

The screen protector seems good quality and durable, but only time will tell. I will say the application was pretty easy. I just followed the simply laid-out instructions, and my screen feels well protected and looking crystal clear. My apple pencil glides smoothly across it. If you get air bubbles on first application, just lift the corner of the screen protector closest to the air bubble until you reach the trapped air, and then let it back down and it seems to magically reapply without anymore air bubbles. Definitely worth the money especially with the included backup one.

This company has extremely good customer service. Despite watching their video and carefully following the step by step procedure, I ended up with two tiny pieces of dust and several bubbles. After contacting the company, they are replacing the product. I’ll hope for better success!

I received an email from the manufacturer before my order even arrived, and my first thought was, “How can they have so many problems with their product that they're willing to send me a new one right away, no return required? But after receiving the product and installing it, I realized that this is simply a sign of the manufacturer's immense confidence in their product and respect for their customers. I've bought and used tons of screen protectors, but this is the first time I've been completely satisfied. I highly recommend this product. (I was worried that it might be thick because it's tempered glass... but I needn't have worried at all).Thanks for the kind email from the manufacturer.

First off customer service reached out and offered me the correct item just to make sure I was satisfied, then did an additional step to make me feel totally satisfied, they had no reason too but I must say this company has gone above and beyond to make sure they had a totally satisfied customer. Will continue to buy ESR products just for this reason!Don’t really know why this one exists when the other option that ESR has is a much better option, I wish it would have come up when I searched, this was the first choice with good feedback, after ordering and further research I found ESR has a better option. But that’s on me at the end of the day.

I am 37 and I have tried using screen protectors on various devices for many years. I could never get one to adhere without dust or bubbles. With this one, I messed up my first protector in the package because I touched it and got finger prints on it. That was my fault. Hopefully I can clean it when I need to use it. I still have the second cleaning kit.Anywho, I have latex kitchen gloves I put on to put the second one on. So…there’s a tip if you are clumsy like me and get finger prints on everything. Lol. I reused the cleaning kit and the second one went on perfectly with no issue. No bubbles. No dust. It’s absolutely perfect. So easy to apply. I got the matte/paper feel variety and it has made writing on my iPad so enjoyable. I say this as a stationery snob!So my only issue was my own fault. I’d absolutely buy again and I recommended this company to my friends while telling them about putting the cover on.I was really on the fence due to my past issues and literally just returning one I couldn’t make work. But the reviews were good and people specifically mentioned they always had trouble with these. I will come back to ESR for any other screen protector needs.
