Super useful!! Stays put on my civic hatchback, basically doubles the storage capacity. Stays dry and waterproof have used several times for long roadtrips over the years still works great. Fits nicely back into the storage bag doesn’t take up much room at all while storing. Drag introduced while filled to maximum capacity, lowered my gas mileage from 40 down to ~30mpg in my civic. Partially weight increase on the car but the drag is no joke if you have it really packed with stuff. Doesn’t leave any marks, I would be careful if you have something pointy or particularly heavy as there’s only so much padding can do to spread out the weight and you could damage roof of car with dent. I have put some pretty heavy plastic tubs full with books up there and no denting or anything. No damage where the hooks hold onto the door jam either. Cleaver design. Zippers are top quality haven’t had a problem. All the straps have some Velcro so you can wrap them up and Velcro so it doesn’t fly around with the wind. Haven’t had any leaks into car while hooks are in and in heavy rain too. Really good product!!

Fits so much stuff! We drove two days through storms and then back in the snow all my luggage was dry! So definitely waterproof! Zipper never broke and we packed it all the way! Easy to setup

iI was so surprised by the capacity and durability of this bag. It saved our butts in a big move, carried multiple suitcases and hampers full of clothes when our trailer / cars ran out of room. It was easy to load, and the clips secured beautifully to my door frame under the gasket. Super easy to set up and install, loved that it came with a slip free mat. I drive a 2021 RAV4 and do not have any roof bars installed. We were going to purchase roof bars and a safari basket, but then I found this bag. This was SO much better for our budget, and I love that I don't have to keep anything on the car between use. If you're on the fence, definitely give this a try. We didn't have any rain on our trip, but I could tell the water proofing on this was fantastic - just make sure the zipper closure is facing the back. I'd also recommend taking a lighter to the ends of the straps to keep them from fraying on the road.

This is a great cartop carrier. It's really huge and the material is super strong. It looks super waterproof (so I cannot imagine how people managed to get water inside their carrier). You can fit a ton of stuff in it. I have to say, however, if you have a tall SUV, it is SO difficult to strap it onto the roof. We have rails so we just want to strap it to the rails. But, even with a ladder, we cannot manage to get the straps on properly. The criss cross that you see on the top of the carrier in the images cannot be achieved on a tall SUV unless you can literally crawl onto the roof. And we cannot do that. So just winged it. It still seems quite secure, although it's lopsided and there are a lot of straps dangling around. They should have a video on how to do the straps properly, especially for those who have a tall SUV. I was skeptical about this purchase with the bad reviews I read but after a 16hr 800 mile drive from Oak Point, Tx to Keystone, Co. I will say I had none of those issues (no rain occured to provide review on waterproofing). I was able to fit 1 large, 3 medium and 2 small luggage bags, a 6 and 2 person tent, 3 vacuum storage bags that had 2 comforters, 2 blankets and 2 pillows, 2 life vest, collapsible shower tent, portable shower bag, towels and footwear with a little room to spare. Installation was easy with the provided directions (I did some additonal rooftoop n bag packing research and loaded the heavier items in the front). I was scared the nylon straps clips were going to break or pop loose so I used the extra length nylon strap to wrap over the clip and through a loop on the bag multiple times, slid the attached velcro on the strap through one of the loops I made pulled tight and connected the velcro. Gave it the ole "that's not going anywhere pull" and set out on our journey. After 30 minutes of 70-75 mph speed travel I stopped to perform a check before hitting the open road and the bag was still centered, straps were tight and all was well. Every stop we made I checked the bag and straps and no change. The bag or straps did not rip or fray. If you do choose this bag make sure to fill it completely so it gains its square shape to prevent flapping which will lead to rips and tears (I researched this). Almost forgot, DO NOT PUT ITEMS IN HERE THAT YOU WILL NEED ACCESS TO ON A REGULAR BASIS THROUGH OUT THE TRAVEL! Learned that the hard way. I was not told while packing which one was the medicine bag which i packed dead center. I had to do a lot of unstrapping to get access to it. If I would modify anything for next travel. It would be changing out the nylon clips. They held up well but always worried me while I was traveling. Hope this helps a future buyer. (Don't judge my photos, only ones I could provide were from my security camera at 3am while we were leaving lol)

Great bag put 6 large bags in carrier and easy to use

Arrived quickly. Costs more than some other models in this size range, but is of very good construction. The dimensions are just right to fit on top of my 64" roof carriage basket. It fits 2 large 30 gal plastic totes and two 18 gal totes with lids (for organization), while still allowing the bag to be zipped up, with some room to spare for smaller misc items like tent, camping chairs, sleeping bag, jackets etc. I drove one night in the rain and left the bag on overnight. Everything was perfectly dry. There are plenty of straps to keep everything secure too. With the carriage rack that bought separately, I can carry a lot more weight (250lbs) in the bag too. It doesn't shift position at all and it protects the roof. This also saves space inside the van. I love it. I am sure I will get a lot of use out of it!

Ottimo prodotto e ben rifinito. Bagagli ben protetti anche in caso di forte pioggia. Fissaggio sicuro al tetto. Ci metti di tutto, dato che è formato XXL, e l'abitacolo è finalmente sgombro per un viaggio più confortevole (noi abbiamo in auto il box di sicurezza per il nostro cane che viaggia sempre con noi). Se devo proprio trovare un difetto, è quello di prestare attenzione all'altezza definitiva sul proprio mezzo, nel caso si debba sostare in viaggio in aree con tettoia bassa (nostro mezzo è già alto di suo + il box in certi parcheggi coperti non ci stavamo...consiglio utile, informarsi prima, per il resto totalmente soddisfatti).

Da mir die ganzen handelsüblichen Dachboxen viel zu teuer und auch zu klein waren, habe ich mich für diese Dachtasche entschieden. Und was soll ich sagen: Sie ist großartig! Wir haben die Dachtasche nun schon seit 2 Jahren (mit insgesamt 4 Urlaubsreisen) in Gebrauch. Sie ist mega geräumig (viel größer als handelsübliche Dachboxen!), lässt sich problemlos auf- und wieder abbauen und das größte Plus (für mich zumindest) ist, dass man sie platzsparend einrollen und verstauen kann, ohne den Großteil des Jahres eine riesige, sperrige Dachbox in der Garage verstauben zu lassen. Es passen dort locker 4-5 große Koffer in die Tasche. Wir verreisen üblicherweise mit 2 großen Koffern, einem zusammengeklappten Kinderwagen, mehreren kleineren Taschen und einem in einer Tasche mit Zubehör verstauten SUP. Passt alles problemlos rein. Und selbst bei starkem Regen und Wind hat die Tasche immer dicht gehalten. Und sobald man mal den Dreh raus hat, dann dauert das anbringen und festmachen der Tasche nichtmehr wirklich lang. Keine Ahnung, wieso man bei dieser Alternative überhaupt noch eine überteuerte Dachbox aus Hartplastik wählen sollte.

expensive but really worth it. good strong bag, plenty of straps to tie it down and to tighten it up, keeps the clothes dry and you can get loads of stuff in it, works really well

parfait, facile à installer et désintaller (je l'ai fait toute seule !) grand volume, étanche (j'ai pris la pluie pendant 4h à l'aller) et tiens dans un sac pour le ranger dans la maison après utilisation. il a l'air de tras bonne qualite et j'espère qu'il me fera quelques années. je recommande sans hésiter.
