I've been using these, for a while now, as microwave bowls. They are durable, don't leak (even if you drop the leftover soup on the floor...great fitting lids!), and have a nice easy shape for hand cleaning. Sorry, folks, my dishwasher is my own two hands, so I can't tell you if they stand up to the machines.What I can say is that, as long as you don't over-nuke your food, these little containers will last you a long time. And if you lose one, that's okay, because they are very affordable!

I love this bowl. The lid is very snug which keeps the salad crisp.

I spent the same price on 12 of these units, which I love, as on a tupperware-like item that I hate. Glad I've replaced that relic with these! These bowls don't take up much space, stack well, and the design can't be beat. Often with salad cups, there is the concern that if the cup spills open, it will ruin whatever bag it's in. Here, that's no longer a concern - if the dressing cup gets knocked out (which I have yet to see) - it merely dresses your salad a bit early. The salad dressing cup snapping into the lid design is perfect. The bowls are dishwasher safe, and stack neatly. At this price, you don't need to be too concerned if you lose one here or there. Only downside, it might not fit into some lunch bags because it's fairly tall. This isn't an issue for me. It's the perfect size for a large side salad. If you'd prefer to eat an entree sized salad, you may find yourself wishing they were larger (or simply using two containers).

I purchased these to store soup and when they arrived I found two of the tops didn’t fit. I tried to close the containers and the food spilled out on the counter. I cannot figure out why they sent tops that would not fit. Vey disappointed and what a mess I had to clean up from the spill wish I could give this a zero star rating.

Perhaps slightly more material to make these a little more sturdy, other than that works really well.

I searched and searched for a good sized lunch salad container and finally settled on this one. I am very happy with it. Most of the other salad containers get more than a few reviews saying they are too small for a lunch salad that you intend to be your main course. These are a great size, and the little dressing container holds the perfect amount of dressing for a packed container full of salad. I usually put half the dressing on, mix a little, and when I get about 1/3 to 1/2 through, I add the rest of the dressing and mix. I pack my salads kind of densely, so if I were to put all of the dressing on right away, I might not have any by the time I reached the bottom.Besides being big enough for a decent salad, I love that these come in packs of 4 - I can make 4 days worth of salads ahead of time, and have them ready to go in the fridge :)These win all around for size and value!

Nice size, good for salad

There is a reason why everyone talks about these containers. They're nice heavy duty containers that function perfectly with little investment. They're the same size as typical to-go salads that are purchasable at grocery and convenience stores. It's genius that the dressing containers snap into the main lid, so every time you wash them you don't have an additional tiny lid to track down. I haven't had any problems with them getting dislodged in transit. Once you have a set of these, you'll be surprised how often you want to pack something and keep an ingredient apart. It's a need that bento boxes have always addressed. Did we really have to become addicted to lunch salads for this idea to be translated to storage containers?
