New York Facestudio Master Blush Color & Highlight Kit, 0.47 oz.

This is a nice collection of blush colors. A problem was that, for some odd reason, it couldn’t be delivered to my address. So I had it delivered to my son’s address, and they brought it to me on their next visit. For good measure, to avoid a future problem, I ordered two of them. I used to get the Madeline blush at the drugstore, but that ended like has happened with many things. (Thankfully, they can be found on Amazon.)

Usually I don't like drugstore blushes. These are different. I'm fair and neutral/cool toned and every blush shade, along with the highlighter, works for me. You need a very light touch with the darkest (plum) shade. I don't mean swiping the blushes, just gently touch the bristles to the blush for the right amount. I don't see why people complain about no brush being included. Brushes that are included with cosmetics are worthless. Invest in a nice set of brushes and quit complaining. My only warning is to be careful with the cheap plastic packaging; it will break before all the blush is used if you aren't careful.

I really love the highlighter in this palette. It is very flattering and it glows up your look very nicely. I also love the peachy shade. The blushes have a perfect amount of pigment. They are not matte, however, but I really love this palette and would recommend it to those who neep cheep but decent blushes and highlight.

This palette is perfect for my needs. I love mixing the blushes to customize my blush to my look and season. I'm very fair skinned so the highlighter is a tad bit too dark for me but the blushes are the real reason I bought this palette.

The blushes have decent pigment and blend out daily well. Not bad at all. The lightest shade is in pallet is trying to be a highlighter and failing. It has no pigment, won’t pick up on a brush and once on the skin disappears if you blend it.

As people are stating - if you have very fair skin (I have porcelain/ivory skin) the hilighter will work better as a shimmery blush - as it is too dark to hilight fair skin. The shades are a pearlescent pink-champagne shimmer, peach-coral, rose pink, and plum. The size, pigment, and amount of product you get is a great deal for $10. I would recommend this for anyone with moderately fair to bronze caramel skin. This will most likely not work for darker skinned ladies.

All the colors are remarkable for the Indian skin type. Each of the 4 shades are highly pigmented. The highlight has a very subtle sheer to it, not dark enough to overpower the face, but subtle enough to give a good strobe-effect. The highlight can be used for day time as well as night time makeup. The peach shade is absolutely perfect for my skin colour, which is wheatish-dark brown side. This shade too is long-lasting and not flaky. The pigment won’t rub off leaving its shimmer behind. The light pink is ideal generally ideal for those makeup-enthusiasts who have a skin tone on the fairer side. The dark pink-purple is by far the best shade on this palette. It is very pigmented, light on the skin, and ideal for dry skin type. The shades have been designed for highlight, contour, and blush. But the peach shade is ideal to achieve the nude makeup look on Indian brown skin. This is the perfect palette! Maybelline knows its market in India!

Solid product for a reasonable price. I understand the frustration, however packaging issues or it breaking when you drop it is hardly the fault of this product as other reviews have stated so i'm leaving a review of the actual product (on behalf of my significant other mind you, I barely ever wear makeup anymore...) Colours apply and stay on well, though obviously not as well as Mac etc. Colours are nice, fairly generic and you can blend them if needed (they do blend OK). Of course, this was $14 for four colours. I bought two sets. Both arrived without issue and were new in packaging. Perhaps it was because I only order a few other small things with them however they were not damage during transit and definitely were not a used product. I won't lie though, I have had a different product arrive from Amazon in a 'used' (returned) state before however and I was very annoyed at the time. But a quick live chat and the issue was resolved very quickly. So whilst I personally have had no issues with breakages etc and they seem pretty solid, some others have. So perhaps make sure to order with other small things and nothing that could crush or damage them easily if they were loose inside a much larger box.
