This is a great timer and very easy to set-up and change. It has two outlets, very convenient with 1 on each side. The timer set up is so quick and has worked flawlessly since I bought it. I would highly recommend. Price is good since with a 2 pack, you can set up 4 items at once.

I wanted a few to set up some plausible on-off light events at the house when everyone is out, and I didn't want to add another device to the home internet and add more potential security vulnerabilities (or be dependent on the manufacturer to still be around to support the app).This one allows up to 10 separate ON-OFF schedules, that can each be set not just to whatever time of day but also across different multi-day options (single day, every other day (2 ways), weekday, weekend; you may have to use up separate schedule slots if the options don't suit your plan).A bonus feature that was advertised but I didn't notice until I got it, was a RANDOM mode that applies up to 30 minutes +/- to every ON/OFF set in the timer, which helps the illusion of someone being at home. It does make picking your ON/OFF times trickier if you want to time it to sunrise/sunset, I find it easiest to just pick the weather forecast sunset and go about 30 minutes earlier, and for sunrise, about 30 minutes later.Do keep in mind these are three-prong (and can control 2x three-prong devices (both turn ON/OFF at the same time)), so you can't plug this timer into cheaper 2-prong extension cords (you can plug those extension cords into the timer though), so you're probably going to be plugging the timer directly to your power outlet. Fortunately, the built-in rechargeable battery lasts for months (I had a couple timers I forgot about after not needing them for a while, still working), and you can set the time and schedule without being plugged in, which is also good because the LCD screen isn't backlit, so it is good to set them where you can see the screen clearly under some lighting, and so you don't have to do so while bent over at a power outlet.

Also, combinations of days e.g. “Mo-Tu-We-Th-Fr-Sa”, “Mo-We-Fr”, “Tu-Th-Sa”, “Mo-Tu-We” or “Th-Fr-Sa”.It also has an operational mode button, which allows you to place the device in an: “OFF”, “ON” or “Timed” mode. Other additional features include a “random mode” that alters the on and off time within a set interval, a “lock button” to guard settings and “DST” function.The build quality is good, and doesn’t take up too much space on the outlet. So far, the timer has been reliable, with no issues keeping to the set schedule.

The main factor to enable programming these timers is to quickly realize that the switch at the top of the units has 3 positions: Off, Timed and On.Setting the switch to the middle Timed position makes it easy to follow the instructions and to program the timers.Timed and the interval numbers show up on the screen when the switch is set to the middle position, not when the switch is set to the far left On position.The four stars instead of 5 is due to the sticky note instructions that mention the middle Timed position not being included in the user manual.

I bought this timer in order to set my commercial ovens to come on in the morning 30 minutes before our baker comes in to allow them to preheat and be ready for the first batch of cookies immediately. It has worked flawlessly and sped up our morning baking. It was simple to program even made it possible to program it different for different days of the week. Very glad I bought it

This timer is so handy. It operates all of my neon signs for my business. I love the fact that it has 2 outlets and a daylight saving setting. So when it's that time of year, you press one button, and it switches it back an hr.Been using it for a few months now, no issues!

These work great, but getting them programmed is a chore. Don't lose the instructions!

I was tired of the old style timers & needed to replace. These had the best reviews. I’m not tech savvy, but figured them out. Highly recommend!

We only just got this .. but so far it is exactly what I was looking for.Replace mechanical timers which run hot and loose time.Can arrange some randomness so not so obviously a timer.

Good directions. Easy to follow once I figured out to look at the seconds to find out "When the time stops updating" for setting the clock.I'm using this to charge devices weekly instead of leaving them on charge constantly. The version with a countdown timer would have been better for me - as long as the timed settings still work after the countdown.I just got it, so I'm assuming that it actually works.
