I had a problem with WiFi in my home office. Throwing more money after better and better routers seemed useless since the 5 ghz signal seems easily blocked by the walls in my home. I started noticing the issue was the worst with my desktop PC, while the laptop was not so bad. I figured it was the antenna on the tower wasn't in a good place to get reception and this antenna did exactly what needed doing...I'm paying for 60mps and was getting about 25mps on the tower....my last three readings after installing this antenna were around 70mps....a lot cheaper than running Ethernet cables and switches!

It works just fine! I use it for my digital mixer (sound system) The signal is consistent my only complaint is the magnet is a bit weak

Was just as stated ... Note that the cables are much shorter than anticipated but that was my own fault for not reading the details better.. I was thing 19 feet when it clearly said 19 inches... So suggest anyone buying also get the suggested ext cables

Have a computer I built a computer that the motherboard had built-in WiFi using an Intel 8265-AC modem. IT supports all the standard features up to 867Mbps and MU-MIMO. The stock antenna is barely 4 inches long and the computer is about 20 feet away from router through 2 walls. The old compute used to get well over 500-700Mbps signal, this one is getting 325-390Mbps. I figured the reduction was due to the antenna size so I opted for 2 of these 9db gain antennas. Well considering these are 3x as tall and 2 of them vs. 1 the best I could get was 295-325. Clearly not worth the spend. Also not sure how they can claim so much gain if I actually lost signal. I will give them the benefit of the doubt that maybe it is my setup, but then there was a degradation so I am sending these back.

Works as advertised. I was having issues getting a good connection with my stock antennas that came along with my pci-e wireless card. Once I got these connected the issue was taken care of. Will definitely get more from them in the future.

This screws right into where you'd put a typical antenna in a PCI wifi card, which is great since most wifi cards get poor reception! Works great, would buy again, tenouttaten

At the time of purchase, the images show a hinged antenna which screws into a magnetic base, with a relatively long cord. What was shipped to me has no hinge, and is of one piece with its base.

Very wimpy magnets that can't even hold up the antenna's own weight.
