Strong Scent, but actually works
I thought since it said there was peppermint involved, that i should put my nose directly against them and inhale, but that was a mistake. Do not do this. I rolled one of these babies under my stove, where I know the mice like to enter and exit the room, and one behind the washing machine. We really have not seen a mouse since we put them out.

Works as advertised
I am very pleased with this purchase. It has a pleasant smell for humans but would be overwhelming for a rodent. I put these in two closets where I have had the most problems and I haven't even seen any activity in those closets since. Several people have told me to plant mint around the house but I can't since I live in a quadplex so I was very happy when I found these at Amazon. I like that they come with the bag which makes them easy to hang in the closet. I also like that it is safe for humans and pets. I will be ordering the mice repellent spray next.

DO NOT BUY...the mice will actually play with it!
SIMPLY PUT...the item does not work, the mice played with it, rolled it around like it was a ball. It's SUPPOSED to smell like peppermint, which is SUPPOSED to be a natural deterrent, but this product smelled like mothballs and not very strong ones either. ANOTHER ISSUE? "This item isn't eligible for return. For safety reasons, items containing flammable liquids or gases can’t be returned to Amazon." Which puts the burden on Amazon to pay back on a product that doesn't properly describe itself. Total waste of time and a rip-off.

TERRIBLE stench -- $13 blown
These smell TERRIBLE. With the ingredients allegedly being peppermint, lemon, rosemary, and clove, these smell amazingly like mothballs. Stink so bad I had to throw them out. I suppose they might work, but can't be sure since I bought these just as added insurance after exterminator visited. $13 blown on this product. Would've been much better off just buying peppermint oil and making my own (much more pleasant) repellent

Smell test
Hoping that this strong smell would help mice leave pantry. Have tried several supposed anti mouse “smelly” type deterrents- this one was a bit stronger odor but mice liked it and stayed. Will not buy again.

They are expensive moth balls
I’m so mad I purchased this stupid product and can’t return for some reason. This is a moth ball. The ingredients say otherwise. I had moth ball odor in my place for 2 years. I’m not introducing it again. These were supposed to smell like peppermint. They are going in the garbage.

Keeps mice away
I had mice in my basement and set traps in basement but I put these deterrent balls near the top of my stairs with hopes to ensure that they stayed away and didn't come up into my home, so far they seem to be working.

Initial strong scent, but works great
I like how easy it is to use. Just open package and put the ball in the pouch and find your location. I put mine under the dishwasher, but I’ve read under the stove and in pantries are great places to place as well. Two balls came in this package, so I was able to find a second location to help deter rodents. The smell is strong initially but fades. It’s been a few weeks now and I don’t see any signs that mice want to return.
