2 Packs of 40 Oz Starbucks French Roast Whole Bean Coffee = 2 x 40 Oz = 80 Oz

This is my favorite coffee. It is a delicious French Roast that delivers a strong, rich cup of coffee. Unfortunately, Costco stopped selling Starbucks French Roast, so I've started ordering it from Amazon. The expiration date showed this coffee was fresh, and as with most items from Amazon, it was delivered within a day!

This is Starbucks French Roast, whole beans, in 40 oz bags. It was in good shape, and I guess, reasonably fresh. The price was about equal to what Costco charges today, but that is twice what Costco charged a year ago. All told, you like Starbucks or you don't. If you do, and have a good grinder, this is an excellent value.

I have used these Starbucks French Roast beans for years now in a Saeco superauto espresso machine to create my morning latte. The beans may be a bit more expensive compared to other brands, but I really like the flavor and aroma. Generally, I buy this two-pack and they last for a few weeks. Sometimes one of the bags doesn't quite retain its hard, tight state (which tells you the vacuum seal is still intact) and is, shall we say, "squishable." But when opened, the beans still seem quite fresh and smell wonderful. Some espresso machine manufacturers actually advise against using beans so fresh they still retain their shiny appearance, due to the oiliness factor. But I transfer a bagful to a tall tupperware container and let them dry a bit before use.

I like that Starbucks is consistently pretty darn good at a reasonable price. That said, I think the quality has declined a little bit over time. You can definitely find others that are better, but they can't beat price with Starbucks volume. Or else you can get some cheaper, but the quality is less. For my money, this is a good balance.

Full flavor!

Have done multiple purchases over time. Like the quality, the roast, and the flavor of these beans. They will be freshly ground for French press steeping or Mocha pot brewing without any additions to spoil the pure flavor. Will continue to purchase as needed. Highly recommended.
