Great Versatile Light
I recently picked up this Olight work light, and it’s become a must-have for me. The flexibility of the light is fantastic—being able to adjust the angle makes it perfect for all kinds of tasks, from working on my car to just using it around the house. The brightness is solid, and I love the strong magnet on the back, which makes it super handy for hands-free use. It’s built really well, too—feels sturdy in hand, and I’ve used it in various conditions without any issues. If you need a compact, powerful, and versatile work light, this one’s definitely worth checking out!

I'm not kind to this thing, but it's kind and dependable to me.
I'm a full time plumber/HVAC tech, part time farmer, woodworker enthusiast, truck modder that works in attics, crawlspaces, cabinets and engines. This thing finds a way to be useful and convenient in literally every situation I've encountered due to the magnet, the clip and the two different style lights. I've gotten it drenched from working under cabinets (although not submerged), dropped it many times, gotten it dusty with mounds sawdust and various types of insulation, used it for hours in Texas attics of 130°f and overall just worked the piss out of it without any regard for its well being. It doesn't care. It just keeps doing it's job. I lost one after 2 years, still worked great. Bought another one, still works like a champ. Got a 3rd for my dad, and I'll probably buy another to keep in my daily driver. It doesn't spotlight well, but as a worklight, it works exceptionally well. It doesn't have the dumb strobe, SOS settings and I honestly love the fact that I won't accidentally cycle through those every darn time I use it. It's simple, durable, useful as shirt pocket. Exceptional value.

Great versatility and excellent value
Im sort of an olight junkie. This is one of their newest entries and a great choice. Combines a flashlight, small floodlight, and rechargeable. Some brightness adjustability. Magnet. About as versatile as any light you can get. Slight downside is it’s sort of bulky for pocket carry but almost everybody getting this already has smaller flashlights anyway.Highly recommended.

Not the brightest or best, but if you've seen the Torque Test Channel review, well...
Higher output comes at a high cost to battery life, this light throttles it pretty low, but in doing that ensures you'll likely be able to finish the job before you run out of light.Emitters are much more efficient these days so you wind up getting either much more light or longer runtimes per watt.UI is nothing special, but it's ok for a work light: COB comes on in medium mode, high, low, then off. If you linger on a level it will go straight to off. 2 levels on the end light. It is so many colors across the beam profile I'm not even going to guess, emitter swap looks easy so may put in Nichia or Cree. It's sort-of throwy but the hotspot is pretty big, sheesh, it's a work light and it's probably fine if you are ok with not having the brightest light in the world. ANY light is better than none.Magnets work great on appropriate metal surfaces, cool clip integrated into base, the detent for the angle adjust is surprisingly strong, the case doesn't feel like the typical junk plastic, as a matter of fact I wish ALL of my plastic devices were made out of this plastic!Torque Test Channel did a work light review and this was included in the group, the runtimes and durability kept surprising them and that sold me on it. I've had my 2000 lumen Hank lights, they're great, but with the work I do sometimes just a little light (for a long time) is enough.I'm a cheapskate, budgetlightforums has spoiled me to the decent but budget priced lights, but if you get this on sale and don't use it as an EDC you'll probably be happy.Building this with a user-replaceable battery would definitely reduce it's robustness and increase it's size, if the light holds up there's a good chance a replacement can be found if I'm lucky enough to live that long.If they had it to do over again I'm pretty sure they would've had the battery port and power button offset instead of directly across from each other on the side. I wind up mashing on both of them. All this nitpicking is just the flashoholic talking, this is a decent light with great runtimes and durability.I will change the colorful emitter in the end but a normal person wouldn't even care. Honestly, it seems like yesterday that the MiniMag 2xAA was introduced and OMG I CAN WORK ON THINGS IN THE DARK!Now I spend a little more and get a rechargeable work lamp with 2 styles of emitters, magnets, clips, different levels (!), and I complain? I am a monster.

Beats my others in most ways
So I've found myself with 3 similar work lights over the years. Long story short I wanted to upgrade with USB-C charging and also a little smaller and lighter for my tool bag. The Olight was a nice find that will serve my needs until the next greatest comes along :)Pros: USB-C charging is the biggest. I can't believe their is still anything being sold with Micro USB in 2020 let alone 2023 (Klein)... and Lightening port but that's a different story thanks Apple. Built rugged. Smaller form factor than similar lights. Plenty bright enough to light up an entire work area. The front facing LED is a great bonus which isn't the brightest ever but it's perfectly usable.Cons: Contrary to some that say it doesn't swivel, yes indeed it does. What they are trying to say is that it doesn't PIVOT like the Klein does. This is fine to me because I can simply pivot the base if needed. I can think of very few circumstances where an actual pivot is beneficial but maybe that's you.As you can see in pics it's much more compact and convenient than the Bosch. However the Bosch does fill a role because I can slap in another battery and off I go.I'm not a fan of the outward opening clip. I understand the logic because you can get it around a larger object and still close. But the Klein opens inward, feels more natural, and over years of use I've never thought to myself "man I wish I had more room for this clip". Also a nail nick on the hanger part would be an improvement (can likely cut that myself). In summary I like the Olight best and it earns a place in my daily work bag. The Bosch will stay in my work van for bigger jobs, and the Klein will be downgraded to sticking on the breaker box for home emergencies.
