I’ve used these on 2 302 engines now and it’s worked well both times. I tried the FOMOCO gasket once and it was junk and wouldn’t seal at all. This seems to be the best 1 piece option out there.

Best pan gasket to buy

88 f150 302 4x4 oil pan gasket
I wasn't able to use the easy clips on my application but I ended up not really needing them. I couldn't get the clips to fit but I think it's because I just didn't have room. Yes I changed the oil pan gasket on my 4x4 without lifting the engine. No I wouldn't recommend it but just so you know it is possible to do it in your driveway by yourself lol. The gasket is flexible enough to fit underneath your oil pump and rigid enough to line up with ease. I used acetone to wipe the mating surfaces clean before installing. Held the oil pan up with my forearm while laying on my back and installed the brackets and screws by hand. My neck is sore but it sure beats having to lift my engine to change a gasket. Still have to install a new timing cover gasket which is the whole reason I started this project. Im happy with this gasket. The original gasket was riddled with cracks and I was losing a small amount of oil from it. Somebody noted in their review that the gasket comes folded in half. That's true, but it's folded on the flexible rubber sections which absolutely does not damage the gasket in any way.

Looks good
It's a bear to get the oil pan on. ARP bolts are a hair too short. I drew it down with the stock bolts and replaced them with the ARP as I drew the pan down. Motor is out, but it looks great and no gasket sealer needed.

Well made
This product is fantastic. Fit perfectly. No leak’s looks like it will last a lifetime. It is hard to install but that was no fault of the product.
