Excellent grains!
Grain was clean and looked great. Wish the prices were lower but the farmers gotta live too in todays problems. When soaked overnight and cooked correctly you can do anything with it.

GREAT BUY!
Great ORGANIC MILLET! Bought the 25 lbs bag, 3 yrs ago, still have some. We also eat rice. Great buy! Clean NO BUGS AT ALL. 50/50 chance bad reviews are from competitors. I use 1 cup of millet and 2 1/2 water and cooked in my rice cooker and also on the cooktop. You can make mashed mock mashed potatoes, in salads, with beans, milled at home with your coffe grinder or other, to substitute part flour, desserts etc. Use your imagination! We are the only creatures God made with an imagination! 💓🖐😋🤗👌 Bless you all!

Tastes good, great price
This millet has good flavor and cooks up nicely. The price is excellent. I have bought it multiple times and intend to keep buying it. I have read some reviews that complain about dust and hulls. This startled me. I never assume that a natural grain is ready to cook like Rice-a-Roni or other highly processed products. When I prepare any whole grain, I take a few minutes to pour a cup at a time into a Pyrex pie plate and sort through it for foreign matter and unhulled grains, then I put it in a strainer, shake it to remove any dust or grit, and run water through the strainer to clean the grain before putting it in the pan (or, in the case of millet, toasting the grain in an electric skillet before cooking for better flavor). These simple steps ensure that the millet, rice, whatever is clean and no hulls get through. It's slow food, but slow food is better.

Good, but not as great as before.
This is the second time we have purchased the 25# bag. I'm not certain I will buy again. The second bag has a milder flavor and more hulls than the first bag. It is acceptable, but I guess I was spoiled by the great quality we got the first time. 25# will last me a long time. But I might try some other options before buying a large quantity again. I really loved the flavor of the first bag I bought. With any natural product one has to expect some variation I suppose.

2025 April order - millet grain full of pest and frass
There is something wrong with the recent supply of their hulled millet product. I have been purchasing this product for many years The one I ordered on April 16, 2025 was full of some grain pest! They were not weevils, but something that resulted in black spots on each millet grain. The grain seemed to turn into powdery dust, which I think is basically frass from the pest. Another thing to note: The millet grain was also relatively smaller compared to all my previous 50+ orders! That makes me think that the millet came not from a source/geographic location different from what the company used to ship from. I was expecting the slightly larger USA-grown millet, but the grain from the most recent order was noticeably smaller. Be on the lookout... if you see any sort of powdery stuff in your millet bag, SEAL WELL with duct tape, put the whole thing in a garbage/waste bag, discard away from your home, into the garbage can IMMEDIATELY. Don't mess around with it,, if you want to observe it by picking a few, do it outside and possibly away from your home.
