Not what I thought!
The ties are flimsy, just thin thread. The poles are weak.

Best umbrella I've found for sports in the Florida sun and wind
As someone with a history of melanoma, I've been searching for a solution that can both shield me from the relentless Florida sun and hold up to our random strong wind gusts during long hours on the sidelines at soccer each weekend. I've finally found my answer. I've tried every sport umbrella, umbrella chair and beach umbrella but they all had their issues. They only shielded me when the sun was in a particular position leaving me fully exposed the rest of the day, would completely blow over during an unexpected wind gust or took forever to screw into the ground leaving holes on the field. I photograph the team during the games so I need both hands free and I didn't want to have to mess with an entire tent system that would taken an army to set up and might block my view. This umbrella with the stake on the end is the perfect solution. It was super easy to put together. The umbrella pole slides right into the bottom pole and can adjust for height with the simple pop of a button. I kept it at the highest height for my director's chair and was easily able to photograph unobstructed and get up without getting decapitated. The stake screws into the bottom pole and easily pushes right into the grass with one foot. I was set up on my first use in 30 seconds. Because the wind gusts are so unpredictable here, I also purchased the Sun Umbrella Brace Beach Umbrella Holder on Amazon (shown in photo) to give the pole a little more gust stability just in case. Perfect solution. For this morning's game we had a strong gust come through that would have swung my last umbrella right off my chair and this one barely budged. It's large enough to shield me both from the front or back during any time of day and easily tilts and holds just the right angle. Brilliant. It really seems well made and was lightweight and extremely easy to pack back up when I was done. I hope to use this for many seasons to come and I simply couldn't be happier. I would not hesitate to recommend this umbrella especially when combined with the Sun Umbrella Brace Beach Umbrella Holder. Well done AosKe!

easy to set up. light weight, great carrying case, top adjustable with a coil section
This is a great product. it is light weight and compact, also comes with a great carrying case for travel. made with durable materials. the seams were stitched well. The best part is the coiled section of the pole, which enable you to bend the umbrella to adjust angle for sun and wind. three other extra stakes with wire are provided to get additional support against strong wind.Tried it in my backyard in a windy day; it works perfect. could not wait till go out to use it on the beach this summer, after this cronovirus quarantine is over...

light weight, easy to install
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. The weight of the umbrella is unexpected light when we took it out. Besides, it's easily to install. So, this umbrella will be greatly convenient for our family to set up in the back yard or the beach. It can be adjusted to any angel just by bending the spring in the middle as well. anyway, it's a wonderful umbrella.

nice beach umbrella, light weight and easy to put up
Nice beach umbrella. The only reason I gave it 4 star was that I replaced the cheap plastic stakes with nicer metal stakes from ace hardware. I also got a heavier duty line that the stakes attach too. You only need to tie it to the stakes when its REALLY windy, otherwise its fine just to stick it in the ground. I bought a small rubber hammer that I threw in my beach bag just so I can get it in the ground good. I love how light weight this is too, its not a pain to carry to the beach.
