Overall excellent kukri made in Nepal.
First the Kuki came in excellent condition. From the tip of TBE blade to the slight cut at the bottom of the blade it measured 10 inches. The steel was thick and great quality. This Kukri came razor sharp. The point was very sharp and ready. I used goo gone to get the packing grease off. Then I used three in one oil to coat the steel and real wood handle. Whoever made this Kukrii took great care and had a lot of skill making it!!! Now the sheath is well made however takes care in putting the Kukri back into it. I put three in one oil on the inside of the sheath where the blade slides into. I hold the sheathed the top part never at any part of the angled part!!! I wiggle the Kukri blade into the sheath slowly taking care that the point of the blade does not catch in the inside of the sheath going into the sheath. ill draw and replace the blade into the sheath a few times. Also if you have cut resistant gloves like I do I wear them doing this. I also coated the outside of the sheath with three in one oil. This kukri will get passed down to one of my two sons after I pass over this life. It is a generational kukri that will last generations if properly taken care of. This company and the people that makes these for this company have great skill in making these kukri knives. I will take this kukri on my next remote camping trip with my dog and 12 other fellow group campers that we camp with remote areas. I carry these in a chest rig or e d c chest carry bag when hiking and camping. This company and this kukri would made a great holiday present or birthday present for someone. Well worth the money that I paid.

Missing one of the smaller knives
Love the knife overall just a little disappointed one of the smaller knives were not included. The place is there for it, but it is nowhere to be found.

Nice Unit
Well made.2 little accessory knives not much. No tang so had to file tail end of blade down a little so not to be poked or worse.sprayed white lithium down the sheath which is leather covered wood to slide blade better into scabbord.all in all pretty nice piece.

Cost saving and damage more than just the scabbard.
Why haven't you adapted your sheith for your needs or made one best suited to your needs? It's cheap because cost is cut on the sheith. What is it about that statement is it that you don't understand?

SMH...
I received mine a week or so ago. Sharp enough from the factory... and as stated above the sheath is a nightmare. If oil would help I would, but it's the inside, as if it were made for another blade and we are left to just cut our way through the Buffalo hide core blade protection. I'll give it to my Nephew and buy my next kukri direct from the Kukri House.
