Life Changjng Mobility
I recently broke a bone in my foot for which I was given crutches by the hospital ER I was seen at. I’m 69 years old, 5’-9”, 175# with two bad shoulders but otherwise in good physical condition. Not having used crutches in over 30 years, I had forgotten what a nightmare crutches were.We searched the web reading dozens of reviews on the various knee walkers available, and quite honestly found very few helpful. Being mechanically gifted myself I did my research and reviewed the mechanics of several models, the ease of assemble, and overall weight, eventually finding the KneeRover Hybrid Knee Walker checked the most boxes for my requirements. We ordered my KneeRocer on Thursday afternoon and received it Saturday morning. Upon arrival we found the KneeRocer well packaged and wrapped with foam to prevent damage or scratching. Assembly was made very easy with easy to follow instructions that were very clear. There are three bolts with washers to assemble the front steering axle (tools included), sliding the detached seat and handle bar into place and adjusting your height preferences. Fit and finish of all components was excellent. At the time I wrote this review I had used the KneeRocer for two days and I’m not exaggerating when I say it’s changed my life and how I will do things for the next 8 weeks. Our home, driveways, and sidewalks are all on one level so I’m able to skate to all areas of my home and garage with ease. The small basket allows me to carry small items including self protection and EDC for the 2A minded. 😎Pros1. Quick delivery and solid packaging2. Ease of assembly and adjusting the seat and handlebars.3. Top shelf construction and finish.4. Weighing in at just under 25# the KneeRover is easily transportable.5. Stability for a reasonably healthy person is excellent.6. The knee pad is very comfortable. (A common complaint we read in reviews on other models.)Cons1. The KneeRocer requires removing or loosening adjustment pins on the handlebars and seat to fully collapse the KneeRover to its smallest configuration. This may be a concern for those with subcompact cars. We knew this before purchasing the KneeRocer so it wasn’t a negative for us.Note: It is important to know that any small framed wheeled device like the KneeRover has its limitation. For those who may have balance or stability issues, or for those who live in a multi level home or apartment, a knee Walker may not be right for you. If you have any questions or reservations over stability, I would strongly recommend you consult with your doctor before purchasing any type of Knee Walker device. For some a wheelchair or other medical aid may be more appropriate.

I vote yes.
I fractured my ankle a week before a trip to Chicago. Scooters in general are probably game changers, and this is the only one I tried. Was it a good choice? Yes!At first, I thought it might be overly heavy and beefy for the job - wondering if I should have chosen a lightweight travel model instead. Indeed, in the airport with nice slick floors, this scooter was extremely smooth, very easy to steer, and the brakes are effective. However, out in public on city streets with uneven pavement, I was glad to have the stability of a solid scooter with the larger inflatable tires and the extra memory foam seat cushion (sold separately) that let me keep up with the able-bodied people in my group. It rolled smoothly over the brick pavers inside Wrigley Field. A parking lot might seem like an easy task, but asphalt isn’t smooth and you really benefit from a scooter like this one that won’t rattle and shake your bones as you go up ramps and onto sidewalks. For inside only, I bet you could get away with a lightweight scooter with smaller ties. If you plan to ever go outside, this hybrid scooter seems like a no-brainer. I don’t usually post reviews, but I was impressed with the overall quality and value, so wanted to share my 2 cents.

Highly recommend this knee scooter
Firstly, thank you Amazon for the super fast shipping on this. I had foot surgery recently and this scooter has been great. I don’t mind using crutches but having my foot down that low was excruciating. The scooter helped me get around with my foot higher. It made the throbbing a lot less and more manageable in those first weeks. My husband quickly put the scooter together. Very easy for him. The steering, basket and everything are great. The larger rubber tires on the front were essential for my house. We have wood floors, carpets, rugs, and threshold dividers in most of our doorways. The rubber tires go right over everything nicely. The back solid wheels are fine for the back but when I back up over a rug, for example, the back wheels need help, extra push, getting over. So I’m so glad I chose this hybrid. I was going to get the knee rover with the three all rubber tires but when I measured our doorways I knew it would be too wide for our house. We live in a 115 year old house that has servants quarters from way back when. There are some skinny halls and tight staircase situations. This scooter can maneuver all of them. Yes, the turn radius is wide but you can easily do some back and forth to make the turn or just pick the scooter up a bit to help it turn. It rides smooth. The seat cushion is totally fine. I’m not really understanding why it’s hurting peoples knees. It doesn’t hurt mine at all. My knee high medical boot does have to sit on the cushion and that’s kind of an annoying feeling but it doesn’t hurt. I bought the extra cushion but found that annoying and too squishy. It made my boot sit more awkwardly. I returned it. I can’t say how this would do outside but I think well. It’s snowy here and honestly I’ve only been out of the house 3 times in the last 4 weeks. Foot surgery will do that to you! My kids, particularly my son is obsessed with this thing and I have to watch that he doesn’t steal it! It’s great quality. I call it my bike. I will keep it after this bc you never know. My son will sneak down in the basement and ride it around I’m sure!
