EEZ-Y Golf Umbrella with Extra Large 62 Inch Windproof Canopy - Auto Open Sturdy and Lightweight

We ordered this umbrella because whenever I walk my kids to the car, it's hard to keep everyone nice and dry, even if I'm holding out in front of me and letting myself get wet...because I'm also holding the infant car seat and I don't want the littlest one to get whet...anyway, it's been a particularly rainy season this year and we definitely needed a bigger umbrella...hence, the 62-inch Eez-y.We got the umbrella right away and sure as heck, we got a good pour over the past several weekends...one day it actually rained pretty hard all day long, I had to run a few errands and get in and out of the rain...the wind was blowing quite strong during one of my stops and I had a hard time holding the umbrella because of it. Typically the wind can get strong enough that the umbrella will flip up because it cannot hold, but the Eez-y fought the wind like a champ...the design prevents the air from being trapped completely in. I should have held on a little stronger though because the umbrella shot out of my hand, but that was on me. Luckily I was able to retrieve it pretty quickly.It's a hefty umbrella, but I wouldn't expect anything less for 62 inches and a large canopy, so just be aware that a large umbrella isn't as easy to hold as a small one, think leverage.Anyway, if we needed another, we would definitely get it!

If the umbrella you are looking at is backordered, it is worth the wait to get one!My first umbrella was damaged in the shipping process which was 100% Amazon's fault and NOT the seller's fault. I contacted the seller and they sent me a new umbrella with little to no drama! They have followed up with me multiple times and even gave me some money back without me expecting it! I mentioned that I also purchased the travel umbrella but I would have waited if I had known that I would get a 15% off coupon with the purchase of this umbrella. I didn't want any money back but they went ahead and did it! They are extremely customer oriented!The second one arrived in perfect condition. It is GREAT! We had a rainstorm roll through with pretty high wind gusts (30-50 mph) and this umbrella worked great! I love how big it is since it is big enough to cover me and my enormous backpack! It also works great for walking my kid to the bus stop. Both of us fit under it with no problem and we can usually squeeze at least one or two more umbrella-less kids underneath with us!If you're looking for a large, wind resistant umbrella, this is the one to get! Easy to open (push a button) and easy to close although it does take a little elbow grease the first couple times but that just means there's good tension!

I have ordered this same umbrella 3 times--and in general-- for my purpose--they are quite useful and attractive. I use them-- when opened up to be colorful and to shade an area I had someone construct to house feral cats. It looks attractive and generally manages the rain and winds, I don't use it in the traditional way.The stick handle makes it possible to use a tube to put it in -and let it hang over an area. I will be getting one more. I wish there were a few more bright colors. The red/ orange one I have -has faded quite a bit--so I won't get another of those.The black keeps its color. And a red one has kept most of its color..I was happy to find something this big and sturdy.

Big and light and bright. Works very well. I have also bought the compact model that has had a good workout in this very rainy winter. It stashs in my back pocked until neede and then press a button and saved from the rain. The customer service is the real stand out tho. After purchasing each umbrella I received multiple emails to ask if I was satisfied with my purchases. In the case of the compact one, another email came at least 6 weeks later. It so happened that I spotted a touch of rust on the inside supports which surprised me since I thought the structure was made from rust proof materials. I don't think that I would have contacted the company because it seemed rather minor for the time being, but since I was contacted and was asked, I mentioned it and after sending photos I had another umbrella within 2 or 3 days. I am very impressed with this kind of dedication to making sure the product is satisfactory and actually jumping right on fixing it.

Completely frustrated and so disappointed with this umbrella! I'm a dog walker, so I need a good, reliable umbrella. No matter the weather, I have to be out in it all day long. When it rains heavily, water runs down the shaft of the umbrella; which ends up soaking the foam handle. Once the handle gets saturated, it becomes harder to grip, which leads you to squeeze the handle harder, which makes water run down your hand and wrist and soaks your sleeve. If you have on gloves they become soaked, which is miserable in the cold! If you need to hold the umbrella by the shaft, so that it is lower to block the wind, the shaft is so slippery it is hard to hold and your hand/arm gets soaked. If you need to rest it on your shoulder to open a door or something, your shoulder gets wet from the water running down the shaft. A lot of the time, it won't stay locked in the closed position, so I have to keep it closed with the velcro strap. Challenging when you are trying to close it and get in the car and out of the pouring rain! I did give it two stars because I like the size, it has been wind resistant, and it does keep you dry, other than the wet shaft issues. After a recent stretch of 9 straight days of rain, I am so done with this umbrella! Such a shame!

The umbrella itself-surprisingly light, the firm foam handle is quite comfortable and grippy. The automatic deployment opens with a strong and satisfying snap, immediately showing off a convenient design feature: most umbrellas, when fully open, require you to reach up and unhook or press some button to pull the canopy closed. This design does not have that, and it is much more convenient because of it. The canopy is pulled very taut in its snapped open position with a strong spring on the inside of the shaft, making it so that when it is time to close all you have to do is reach up and pull it down to click into place. Large and well designed, it is the best umbrella I have yet owned.
