My husband and I were going on our first ever Alaska cruise and wanted some thermals to layer as suggested by more experienced travelers. (We live in a warm climate area and have little need for them on a regular basis.) I researched quite a bit and found huge price and quality variances. I finally settled on these thermal sets. It was the right choice for us! They are soft, not bulky when layered, and add that extra warmth needed on brisk mornings or days when the wind is just a bit too cold for comfort!

Best present I got my wife. However it is too bulky to wear everyday in the winter with your everyday clothes.
