Im just a little guy (5'8", 116 lbs), so I only got the 25lb pair and only using 15 at the moment. Gotta start somewhere, am I right? The weights are snug, yet smooth to put on the bar. The star things hold them right where I need them to be. Good grip. I mostly use them for preacher curls. Who wants size without shape? Not this guy. Lightweight for now, but I'll improve over time.... I think. Great set for the price. Great set for any price. You can adjust the weight however you prefer. From 6 lbs to 40 lbs. If you need more weight, you bought the wrong set, silly goose.

I have a few adjustable dumbbells I’ve bought over time on FB and CL. All good, but weight capacity is limited. This is due to the design where the grip area (knurling) is long, and the are to add the plates is reduced.This design fixes that. Shorter knurling, and more length to add plates. Awesome dumbbells, great quality finish in the plates. Worth the purchase and would definitely recommend.*And great packaging!

These are okay. There are some spots where the coating wasn't adequately applied, but the weight is there and that's really what matters. After having bought these I have bought others that I liked the looks of better, but had similar finish issues. Good looks can be a motivator, but only to a point. Cost is also a factor and are a good reason to buy these. I'm not looking to spend a thousand dollars every time I buy fitness equipment. Buy them and lift them.

To start off with I’m a female I don’t work out often but I wanted some weights. I can only lift 20 pounds right now but I’m working on it.😭 these came really fast I wanna say within a week I did end up missing one of my packages because when they deliver it, it is delivered in three packages I contact them and they were able to send out another. Apparently it got lost or something. These feel pretty accurate. I don’t have the scale for them, but I have a regular body scale and what I did was just weighed myself and then picked up individual plates held them as I stand on the scale and it added 10 pounds and 5 pounds and 2 pounds, which ever one I picked up so I’m going to assume they’re pretty accurate. I’ve had these I wanna say for like two or three months now they’re perfectly fine. I chose these because they’re affordable and they can go really heavy and I can gradually build up to get up there since I am trying to build my legs/glutes at home. I didn’t really have problems of like chipped paint, Also, I wear gloves when I handle them so I don’t get calluses. Also, the grip can be a little rough. Also, these can be adjusted really easy. If you get the 200 pound set which is about 100 pounds on each dumbbell therefore I can adjust it from 5 pounds which is just the handle all the way up to 100 pounds which is good so you don’t have to buy multiple it took a while to carry these upstairs only caring 10 pound plate one at a time since I’m not strong enough to carry more than 20 pounds at a time. These aren’t fancy or anything their regular weights they get the job done also, mine didn’t have any rough marks on the weights at all. Very smooth. It does take some time to change them out, but I don’t do super sets, so it’s not a problem for me. These are iron so they will basically forever I don’t recommend dropping them though I don’t recommend dropping any weights but like I said they’re iron so they’ll last you a lifetime also from other sellers I got some additional plates so instead of going up to 100 mine can go up to 120 eventually I’ll be able to lift that much just gotta keep practicing and working out. Not too much to stay about these weights. They’re exactly like the picture and they work perfectly fine. Also, when they do start to get old, you can clean them and buy iron spray paint, which will stop them from rusting if the paint starts to come off. that’s all

The product arrived in less than 48 hours. Perhaps less than 36. Greatly appreciated. Two problems remain: (1) a few of the plates have chipped edges, and the flimsiness of the packaging may explain why. (2) The 2.5lb plates won't slide on the bar. The holes are too small. I'm not sure why the supplier would send 2.5lb plates with holes that are smaller than those of the 5lb and 1.25lb plates. It would be nice if they'd send me replacement ones that fit the bar, because sending these back would be a pain.

I purchased 2 of the 52.5 lb. sets because of the variability of weight being used. I have had them for about 6 weeks and they have seen plenty of use, they are sturdy cast iron weights with chrome steel dumbbell bars and for the price they can't be beat. Sure the weight of each plate is a little off but not so much that it will really matter, .1 or .2 lbs. either way is not a big deal unless you're only using 2.5 lbs. worth of plates. I would recommend these for anyone just starting out and wants to advance just 2.5 lbs. at a time.

Excellent quality. Clean, no oil or machining burrs. Very nice finish. Not junk. Shipped in 3 boxes that were double boxed. All parts individually wrapped. And it arrived early.

i know these might take longer to change weights on than a quick changer, but theres nothing moving. ive destroyed several sets of quick changers from dropping, and these havent let me down once. should have just gone with this style sooner

Easy to add or remove plates, collars stay nice and tight nice coating on plates

It just been less than 10days i got this product the paint has already started coming off of the plates. The rod is too long hinders when using less plates during workout.
