Nothing else compares to this!
Hello everyone! As a professional hair stylist let me just say, hello color! This is the most amazing product I’ve ever used and I have been doing hair for over 9 years. Two pieces of information I want to share with you!1. This product can be used on bleached hair or dark hair. On the bleached hair, this color is going to be so vivid you are going to be wowed! I suggest leaving it on for two hours. The 20 minutes as directed is not enough time... set a timer for 2 hours. Wash your hair two times to get the excess build up removed then apply an after color sealer onto your hair for twenty minutes. Followed by a heavy mask conditioner for another twenty minutes. Rinse and then use Chi Keratin leave in spray and style on your way gorgeous! (This color makes a nice brow tint but do not apply unless using a mascara wand as to not stain your face) the stain in the skin last about 3 days.2. If you are looking for a light pastel look for your hair using this color, use once ounce of color to 1 ounce of conditioner and mix in a bowl then apply onto your hair and leave on for 2 hours. I suggest using gloves unless you don’t mind your hands looking like a smurfs for a few days lol.As a hair stylist who has used pravana, redden, matrix and hennas and manic panic, this product is the best. I will be buying again.

Punky Flamingo Pink mixed with Punky Plum
I am very impressed by how vibrant these colors are and how long they last in the hair. They do start to fade out, but even the faded colors are gorgeous. My natural hair is a very dark brown, almost black so I needed to bleach my hair three complete rounds to get it light enough for the color to go over it. (About a level 8). I think that the people that are complaining about it not working or not covering their hair are the people that aren't taking the steps to lighten their hair before they apply.I mix equal parts of the Punky Flamingo Pink and the Punky Plum to get a pretty vibrant magenta color. I also dilute the Plum with an equal part of conditioner. (So one pot pink, one pot plum, and one pot conditioner, for example.) The product itself is thick and easier to apply that most dyes. Because it is a semi-permanent stain, it is ok to leave on your hair for a long time. In fact, the longer you let it stay in your hair, the longer the color will hold and the more vibrant it will be. I apply mine in the evening, wrap my hair/head with plastic wrap, and then sleep on it and wash it out in the morning. (Be sure to put a towel over your pillow that you don't mind ruining, in case a bit of the color transfers) I re-apply every 6 weeks after bleaching my roots again. (Side note: when bleaching your roots, the bleach that touches the purple hair will turn a vibrant green color....don't worry about it. It will cover just fine once you reapply the Punky colour)I have long hair and a lot of it, so I end up using a total of THREE 3.5oz containers of product each time. You really want to saturate the hair so that it applies evenly. In the photo shown my color had been on my hair for 4 weeks, fading it a lighter magenta color, and then I went and weaved some of the Punky Plum as well as the Punky Purple in my hair so that I had 3 different variations of color.

The best I've used and I've tried everything.
This is the first hair color I've ever used back in 1995, Atlantic Blue on my unbleached natural medium brown hair and it took amazingly. Since then, I've tried everything I come across hoping for something that lasts longer, but this is the best I've found. It typically lasts 4-6 weeks on my hair....but I don't follow the directions. This is a vegetable dye and will not harm your hair if left on too long. Actually, it's very conditioning and makes my hair soft and shiny after use. I apply color to my hair before bed, then I put it in a plastic cap, cover my pillow with an old towel, and sleep with it in. In the morning, I put on gloves, add conditioner to the color and let it set at least a half an hour before i rinse it out. Always wash and rinse in cold water and use a mild shampoo made for colored hair. I currently only have highlights that are bleached, and the rest is natural, but I put purple over everything. It looks bright on the bleached parts and a darker purple on the natural hair. It looks way better in person than in photos, but I will include some of the Plum and Violet for color reference. The first is plum, the second photo is plum faded after 5 weeks, and the third is the violet. I'm on week 3 and it hasn't faded yet.
