Would these work with acrylic paint for backgrounds on pictures?

Absolutely not. These are thin and the bristles fell out everywhere!

If you look down at the bristles, is the end thinner or thicker? I'm looking for a thinner or chiseled flat end.

Just a thick as the rest of the brush. Not thinner.
