LEGO Star Wars Hyena Droid Bomber (8016)

I bought this for my 5-year-old who is a lego fanatic. It was challenging for him the first time he put it together with some frustrating moments - likely because he's 5, but he still did it by himself within the day. He flies this ship and others all day long, bombs it, crashes it and now has no problem rebuilding it over-and-over again quickly. Its been weeks and he still plays with this daily along with other lego star wars ships and sets.

I got this as a gift for my 9 year old brother for Christmas and ge loved it. It wasn't very difficult to put together but at the same time gave him a little challenge because there were so many parts. It looks really cool when it is all put together and I would recomend it for other star wars kids who are fans. It's not anywhere near as nice as the collectIble ones In terms of the details, but this is a toy that kids are supposed to have fun with and it does an excellent job in that department.

The set is just what I was looking for! Excellent, right? Hold on. What's this? Missing about 20 pieces! WTH?Anyway, the return was fast and easy.

Kids love lagos and star wars is a big favorate with them. Following the directions and building it themselfs is a lot of fun for them and it makes them think so it's educational as well. Just be sure to buy one that is age related.

When I order this it said new, but when I got it, had already been opened up. All the parts were put into ziplock bags.

It is a great Lego brand kit for your child. My son and I built it in a couple days but could be built in a sitting. It has challenging areas which makes it fun to build. The only weekness is that it is sensative when my son actually plays with it, as parts tend to fall off. I figure with something this big with alot of parts, it is going to happen.

I'm not sure why people are complaining about the durability unless they threw it across a room... This set is nicely articulated, and has some pretty cool features. To be honest it also just looks great.

We were so excited to begin putting this together.However, when we got to step '15' it came apart over and over again.Everytime we would add a piece, the preceding parts separated.Never mind a 7 year old. how about adults having the same problem.Hope it was just 'our' set and not all. it seems like such a fun toy.
