This bike lock is great. First of all it actually looks good. Second of all, the piece that allows you to clip it to your seat post is the best thing going in bike locks (they call this one the "flex frame"). Easily makes this purchase way better than any other bike lock I have purchased previously.Though it is strong and tough, I don't think it would stand up to a serious thief if they had the proper tools to cut the cable. If you are going to use this it should probably be in a medium-risk kind of place or safer.

I like how this lock has a bracket for me to attached on my bike so it won't hanging around when I am not using it. It's easy to install, I've been searching different brand and this brand looks like good reputation overall, so I bought it use it for few weeks and still pretty good.

Got this to replace an older, thicker Kryptonite cable partly because the bracket for the old cable broke.Pros: The barrel head rotates so it's easier to get the lock in place. The skinnier cable is a bit easier to thread through your wheels etc than an equal length fat cable.Cons: This new cable is not as well made. It has a smaller key which doesn't insert easily and the lock barrel doesn't turn smoothly. The sleeve on the "bolt" (the pointy bit that you plug in to the barrel) is actually wider than on my old, thicker cable, and it doesn't fit through the ventilation holes in my helmet. I can no longer lock my helmet with the cable.

This bike lock is only 8mm thick, but the photo they use in the description is a bike lock that is much thicker (10mm-12mm) is my guess. It would take all of 2 seconds for someone with bolt cutters to cut this bike lock, it's no thicker than a pencil, maybe by 1mm or so. Needless to say I returned it and am on the look out for something more substantial. I could see giving this bike lock to your kid for while the bike is at school, behind a chain link fence, locked up with all the other bikes, but not for daily use where your bike might be locked up in a parking garage or even the bike rack on your car.

decent cable might be kinda hard for kids under 7-8to engage cable when unlocked. looks good, rubber coating over cable itself. lock shell is plastic, however still feels like solid internals and mounts nicely to bike.

La cadena es de poca seguridad pero util, se puede romper con solo jalar con suficiente fuerza pero sirve para lugares con vigilancia constante. La pedi solo para dejarla asegurada en el estacionamiento del trabajo que tiene vigilancia propia. Uso la Kryptonite KryptoLok Series 2 cuando voy de compras y la dejo en estacionamiento publico.

I ordered this lock because it has disk detainer core, that is more secure than normal locks. You can see that by the shape of the key.They sent me a wafer lock which is the cheapest and easier to pick of all locks, so far lower security.AVOID this crap. Tis lock in other brand would cost you around 3€

This bike lock works great - I'm not sure how it would hold up if someone actually tried to steal my bike (I lock it up outside my workplace in a closed off area dedicated to bikes). My biggest annoyance with locks is when the key doesn't work efficiently but never had that problem with this one.

Good quality lock delivered quickly. Only used to lock helmet to bike, but does the job admirably.
