They seem to be solid basic little DSM2 receivers. I unfortunately am unable to get my fancy new Spektrum DX5C to connect because it doesn't offer a 16.5ms frame rate as my controller says it does in its manual.These don't have a manual so attached are a couple images with the layout for these guys with the bind plug inserted.

After binding to transmitter the receiver worked and looked promising but as soon as I installed it in the plane it wouldn’t receive signal and I tried different escs and batteries and got it to work one more time and then never again so needless to say I wouldn’t trust it even if it started back working

These are great little receivers. No problems whatsoever. I am wondering if the users who said they will not bind were binding it properly. The way the pins are, it’s very easy to miss a pin so that things are not plugged in correctly. I had trouble binding until I realized I did not have all the plugs in place correctly. Fix that mistake, and they work great. For me, just as good as more expensive receivers. I could not find any instructions, but had no trouble because they bind just like any other spectrum receiver. So these might not be the best receiver for a novice who doesn’t understand how to use them

I'm A beginner And got it to work. I had to change all of the servo plugs, another thing I am a begginner at. Bought the plug kit, crimper and watched YouTube. Hooked everything up didn't work. Changed position of plugs and had to redue two plugs. Once it got the blinling light it bound to DX6 transmitter. Then realised I had to reprogram ESC. Once I figured that out works very well.
