Perfect for POE installations
Obviously this is for POE installations and I use these vs a switch with POE because I donβt have to worry about changing a switch out and all that pain in the you know what after having a good lightning strike nearby wipe out stuff...... you will love the fact you can simply change these things out to get cameras back online using non network ready family members if your not there to change things out. Good to excellent price point and excellent quality POE injectors. Used these since 2008 on my residential setup.

MODE TYPE B
THE FIRST TWO SENT WERE THE WRONG MODE TYPE. YOU NEED TO PUT THE MODE TYPE B IN SPEC.

Quality! Separate power cord, not a space-hogging plug-power supply cube
According to the specs:Power output up to 15.4 wattsSupports all IEEE 802.3af compliant PoE devicesSupports IEEE 802.3af detection and short circuit, overload (>450 ma) and high-voltage protection (>52V)This PoE injector is about the size of the typical netbook power supply, comes with a green power-on LED and the feature I love is there is a separate short AC cord and plug. Space on my UPSs' and surge strips is usually very limited and the power supply cubes that plug directly into AC outlet usually block the adjacent outlet - I hate that. This is my go-to injector.

Great form Amatuer Radio operators
I was having lots of problems on HF with my various PoE power injectors. This model "almost" elminated all RFI noise. I can use 40 meters again!

Simple to use, does the job well
Nice little POE injector for a decent price. I used this to power a POE IP phone - it was less expensive than the manufacturer's power adapter and more versatile. Would buy again in a heartbeat.

Good Product
Does what it is supposed to do. Ever try to find a PoE injector locally? Don't waste your time or gas running around town looking for one of these. Nobody carries them in stock but all say they can order one for you.Amazon to the rescue. Had the product in a couple days and it was half the cost of the local stores that said they could order me one.

A reliable POE solution - with UK mains plug included
After reading the 2 star reviews on this product, I have to come on and write a swift review.I am giving this product 5 stars - it functions perfectly on devices that require the maximum allowed by POE (running a 7" and a 10" touchpanel on two of these injectors) and they have never flickered or failed. My delivery came with UK plugs, but in fairness, the connection is IEC (kettle lead) so it is an industry standard connection anyway. What more can I say? Item works exactly as I want it to - reliable (running for about six months so far) and at a good price. I would recommend.

Working Well as you would expect
I bought this device to replace a PoE device that had failed after 5 years 24/7 working with an Intellinet camera. The only problem I had was that the camera did not start unless I had the device turned on, and THEN plugged the ethernet cable in.Seems to work fine. We shall see how many years this one lasts for!

Works well
I bought one of these a couple of years ago. Now with the addition of a PoE camera to my network, I found myself in need of an extra PoE injector so on 26 June 2014, I bought another. What I like about this injector is it is all self contained; no external power supplies or leads dangling out of it.Setup is a breeze, just connect an Ethernet cable between the 'Input data' port and your switch and take a cable from the 'Output data' port to your PoE device. Plug the mains cord in the other end of the injector and you should be up and running.I have used it with CCTV cameras and WiFi Access Points that conform to the standard (IEEE 802.3af) spec of 15W and not had any problems or dropouts. I have not tried it with any devices that require 25W under the PoE Plus specification. Having said that, I don't think this injector makes any claims in that regard anyway. The things I didn't like are:1) It was supplied with a Euro plug on the power cord rather than a UK mains 3 pin plug.2) Nowhere on the device, the packaging or in the instructions does it say what mains input voltages are supported. I am assuming it is probably the whole range from 110v to 250v AC but it should be clearly stated.I have been running this injector continuously for over a week now from UK mains and it is working perfectly but I haven't tried it with 110V.Neither of these issues are 'deal breakers' for me but I can see how the Euro plug might annoy some customers. However, it is only a standard PC/kettle type connector so finding a suitable mains cable should not be too difficult albeit frustrating.

Doesn't come with UK plug
As per other reviews on here - this product doesn't come with a UK power lead. Not too much hassle as you can use a standard kettle lead but when you're paying for a product you expect it to work right out of the box !!It seems that Amazon.co.uk are doing this with a few PoE injectors across the range...buyer beware!
