Just what I needed to fit cables in a quick release setup. The size is 25mm which is perfect for multiple cables, especially thick audio cables (not looking for a rod to clamp here, but an alternative setup and use). The cold shoe I didn't need, so its fine. (would be nice to get this as is without the cold shoe, but ok, since on the camvate site you can, but maybe it might take a month to get, since its located in China). Solid metal design and rugged. Works great.

only complaint is i wish it came with a gasket or liner, something made of foam or rubber to adjust the size from 25mm to 18mm-22mm but im nit picking this is greati didn't want to spend $400 on the official insta360 triple suction cup mount so i built my own.this was a crucial part in the set up. the 25mm clamp on a 25mm rod black on black looks like it came from a factory this way.i took the cold shoe off with the provided allen key, it just unscrews and exposes the two 1/4 threads. i then coupled it with a neewer 180 swivel 360 degree rotation field monitor mount . it has a 22lb max load so my set up is rock solidin the photo it goes 25mm rod>25mm clamp>field monitor mount>selfie stick and perfectly recreates a $400 item for 75% of the price with 3x the strength

Secure holds a mic in the cold shoe, I did have to use some cork to fill out the clamp ... I was already using the top of the mic stand for a camera and needed to add an accessory mic.

I have two of these, one to hold the monitor and another to hold the preamp/shotgun mic on the handle bars. While it could be a bit cheaper the build quality is great and does the job perfectly well.
