Solid grow light!
Used this for my refugium in my sump. It's quite bright. The build quality is solid. Bought this on a recommendation from a friend. It's great that there's a nice switch to turn it off and on and a plug!I actually bought a similar light on Amazon and they hid the fact there's no plug! Just a couple of bare wires. So for not much more, this light is great. My calerpa and macroalgae grows fast and a nice dark green color too. Not sure what that means, but the macrosalgae looks health. I pair it with a normal full specturm and blue LED light so the tank doesn't look like Amsterdam's red light district....I'm quite pleased... might buy another one for my Aquafuge - although I might be bringing in unwanted attention from my neighbors... LOL.

Using as a Saltwater Aquarium Sump Algea Grow Light
It works really well in my Reef Aquarium to grow macroalgea in the sump. I would give it 5 stars but it gets a bit hot and needs ventilation or it can increase the water temperature of the sump. Great Price and quality construction (waterproof).*Update Raised to 5 stars, the light helps regulate the tank temperatures during our long winters. It cancels out the warming during summers.

Very bright but gets kinda warm.
Very bright lights albeit a little small. I just got 2 of them 2 days ago so it's to early to tell how well they work. The backs and plugs on them do get pretty warm. I measured them with a " Etekcity Lasergrip 774 Non-contact Digital Laser Infrared Thermometer" Etekcity Lasergrip 774 Non-contact Digital Laser Infrared Thermometer Temperature Gun -58℉~ 716℉ (-50℃ ~ 380℃), Yellow and Black and the backs measured 130F -135F degrees and the plugs measured 120F - 125F degrees. Hopefully this won't be a problem as I am hanging them but I wanted to let everyone know just in case this might be an issue for you. Also just to let you know, they do not come with mounting screws/anchors or the wrench to loosen/tighten the bracket I saw in some reviewers photos; just the 4 small zip ties. I contacted the seller and they said that they no longer include those items.Update: It has been about 3 weeks since I put 2 of these in my portable greenhouse. So far the results have been very good. My existing plants have definitely perked up ( my tomatoes have tripled in size. ) and my newly started seeds have had a much better germination and growth rate from my previous setup. I had only a Lahoku LED Plant Grow Strip Light 16.4feet Full Spectrum SMD 5050 Red Blue 4:1 Rope Light with Power Adapter for Greenhouse Hydroponic Plant (5M) strip in there and my herb plants all slowly died and the seeds that did sprout slowly died also. I am not really thrilled at how warm these lights are ( it makes my indoor greenhouse run about 10 - 15 degrees hotter ( 80 - 85 ). But that is a minor trade off for me since they really do seem to work really well, I plan to buy 4 more of them.

This light is awesome! It is compact
This light is awesome! It is compact, yet powerful. It runs cool, but has saved my Ficus tree from dropping all its leaves in a PNW winter. The price point is just right - I could add the light fixture to my budget, no problem. And, the light fixture is very portable. You can place in on the ground and shine it up, on a nearby table and shine it in to a plant, or hang it above the plant and shine it down. You can connect it to a timer so that the light comes on, and switches off in whatever hours you choose. I am SO glad I found this product.

Works good for reef tank chaeto growth
Works good! I use it to grow chaeto in my reef tank. Before that, I used it on an Algae turf scrubber. If you have a tank probably 90 gallons or less, one or two of these will be all you need to grow enough chaeto for the Triton method. I watched a lot of the BRS videos on youtube and wanted to get a light as similar to the Kessil grow light without the cost and one that would be water proof. This is probably about the best you can get fitting that description.I now have a 180 gallon reef tank and just bought the "MAXSISUN Dimmable 300W LED Grow Light 12-band" from amazon and can tell a difference in the growth, but... it is like 6 times the power.

Perfect for my saltwater aquarium refugium
I bought this for my 32 gallon saltwater aquarium to grow chaeto algae in the mini refugium which is on the back of the tank. It works perfectly. Excellent quality with good casing and on/off switch on power cable. It does produce a small amount of heat but not enough to disturb the tank. It’s a little too powerful for my mini tank-I probably should have got the lower amp unit. Regardlesss it works great and I’m very happy.

Description is false/misleading
Seems like a nice durable light with a decent light coverage. Havn't used them with any plants yet , but on inspecting them soon after I received them I noticed the led count was off by 10% . Item specifies 60 pc led and there is only 54. Between customer photos and the ones in the pictures on the listing you can tell the differences and lack of lights between the screw heads. I specifically bought these (8 total) to cover a 22 inch by 20 inch space each. Losing 10% power and light strength at the center / pivotal position dosnt really sit well. Buyer beware I needed these at a a specific time table so now I am stuck with them.

Great light when it works
Great light when it works. Bought four for a greenhouse set up I have in my basement for house pants and an orchid collection. Plants grew extreemly well under these lights but in less than a year all four lights started flashing and had to be replaced. On a good note I now use those lights on my front porch at Hallowern as a strobe like haunted house effect.
