Just as advertised. Seems to be high-quality. The light is great! It's very bright and points straight ahead, so you just have to be careful not to point it in anyone's face in the dark. I got this as a gift and ironed a decorative patch onto the front of the hat, and it ironed on well. The only downside is that my partner likes it too much and doesn't want to use it at work, which was its intended purpose. Alas, sounds like this hat will have a long and happy existence.

Nice hat. Really helpful at night or early morning. Easy to turn on and off. Long lasting light.

We liked these for walks before sunup. I also carry little flashlight, it's brighter. Cap battery died in 5 week using 1/2 hour to 40 min a day. You need a tiny #0 Phillips screw driver to change two 2023 battery. My husband is fine with that. They should make it easier to change the batteries, but it might need a larger battery case.You could use if needed to change a tire in the dark or other work.

I assumed that if nothing else, this would be an inexpensive baseball cap. That said, it turns out to be a rather sturdy baseball cap, with a very bright LED lamp in the brim, sufficient to guide my way down an unlighted path at night. I have not measured, but a rough estimate is that the beam provides visibility about 15 - 20 feet in front of me, enough to make sure that I stay out of the brush and the water.

I wasn't sure that I would like this hat since my previous lighted hat used 4 button batteries and the batteries would last about three weeks. On this hat the batteries were dead when I tried to use it on the second use. Plus ➕ the battery box wasn't attached to the hat like my other hat. It just flops around making it hard to use and change the batteries.

Great hat for outdoors at night or lighting where you are looking doing indoor projects. Love it.

I bought SEVERAL magnetic lights for grilling at night. We grill all year round!! The magnetic lights would last one season. Awful. But this hat works better amd isn't dying. Hat dad gift!
