Q: What is the length of the cable?

There is not any cable with this. Just 100 pieces of the crimping sleeves.

Q: What is the exact diameter of the opening?

What does "exact" mean???? I have no ability to measure to the nearest nanometer. The opening in the sleeve is slightly larger than the cable if the cable is 1/16" OD then the sleeve is approximately 5/64" ID if the galvanizing adds dimension then the loop is approximately 3/32" ID. The fit of the cable in the sleeve is loose but not sloppy. The cable slips easily into the sleeve. Those are not "exact" terms so they may not answer your question.

Q: Do I need a special tool to crimp these?

The only special tool you would need is a pair of pliers. Doesn't matter which kind. And crimp them enough that they won't slide around. These are fairly pliable. I crimped these closer to the edge because it was a little easier to smash as opposed to trying to crimp them directly in the middle.

Q: Will these work with 550 paracord?

While not made for that purpose, they will probably work. Not sure what kind of pressure they will take
