Nice product, great pics, thumbscrew too short and needs lighting memory
Nice product, impressed with it, I wish cycle cameras were cheaper, but this is the best you can get, I bought this over the double ended helmet cam also by Techalogic but weighed that this was newer, better battery and zero issues from helment mounting in terms of safety. great picture also wifi very reliable from what I have seen so far (I won't likely/hopefully use wifi much but I think connecting once is neccessary to update the time/date for overlay). Couple of miner complaints. Main one is that I do no wish to use the light feature but the device does not remember previous setting used so you have to scroll through lighting effects until you find the one that's off. And for me needing to use the mount adapter to spin 90 degrees to allow fitting to an uptube I found that the thumb screw is too short, I have managed it but it's too short for my liking. Any suggestions from other users - am I doing something wrong?

Works great... until there's even a teeny little bit of rain
Bought this, was very happy with camera picture quality, but first time there was even a little rain (kind of normal for cycling in the UK) and it packed up - wouldn't charge properly, turned itself on and off randomly, and you could see water inside the plastic over the camera lens. Obviously not properly sealed - and thus not fit for purpose. Shame - a few pence more spent on making it watertight and it would be a great unit.

Good camera with a few niggles
The standard mount supplied was useless for me on my bike and it's a real shame they don't supply standard GoPro mounts with handlebar brackets which would adapt to the vast majority of customer's requirements and what I'm currently using. This allows me to adjust to almost any position reqd and easily remove when I leave the bike somewhere.Battery life can be hit and miss. I don't use the Wifi or lights and prefer to maximise battery life instead. I need to do further investigation but I currently find battery runs down quickly and even after a couple of days I lose 10-20% battery life. But as I said I need to look into this further. When I did a test straight after a full charge in ideal conditions I got about 8.5 hours of recording, light and wifi off.The quality is fine and should be good enough for evidence purposes but be aware there is no image stabilisation and the highest quality is full HD. One thing I wish they'd implemented is the ability to bookmark a clip using a remote which one of their other cameras had.The one thing I don't like is the rubber grommet for weather protecting the ports on the side. This does not feel especially robust or secure and fear could let water in.

Poor Battery Life, Reasonable Picture Quality, Fragile
Had this back camera for a couple of weeks. The battery life is very poor, both camera and lights are used and get maybe 5 hours, two rides, before needing to recharge. Expected better, but the unit is small and compact and just need to live with it as a rear facing camera is very handy.Picture quality is great. Sound, not so much. Thought of turning sound off, save battery and storage space. There's a feature that automatically saves video clips if the camera is bumped. That's okay, it does store a lot of video because roads are bumpy. Not complaining, think it can be turned off, might also save battery again. Maybe lowering the picture quality might still be okay and save battery. Finally, the bracket that attaches the camera to the bike is not great. The camera does not face out and can point down if the bracket isn't tight enough; there is a tool provided to tighten it, but you have to really tighten it. Unfortunately, even then the camera can point down if going over bumps, you won't know because it's behind you on the bike. Also the bracket is very fragile. Recently the bracket had lossened causing the camera to point down, had to tighten the bracket. However, doing so actually broke the bracket as it is only plastic. Two weeks in and camera isn't usable. Have had to buy new brackets. Luckily it uses standard gopro brackets but still not that great experience of the product. You would not believe how tight the bracket needs to be tightened considering it's plastic.Would I recommend? First impressions, not great. Having said that cars have given plenty of space with it on. It's obviously a camera and drivers appear to have changed as a result of it. That's great. The battery is weak, need to try new settings, and is about usual for cameras like that. The tightening of the bracket to keep the camera pointing straight is annoying considering it's fragile plastic, should be metal. In two minds.

Excellent camera and lights, great video footage.
Very impressed with this camera. It's attached to my seat post and gives alot of bang for its buck, bright red lights and excellent video footage. I have already used the video footage to report near passes to the police via operation snap. Easy to use and you connect to it to view footage via wifi. Easy to download the videos. The battery seems to last a long time but have not been on any very long rides, probably 3 hour ride at mkst and the battery was fine to view the footage and download after this. I would definitely buy another and if they brought out a front one with a white light then I would also buy this. 5 stars 👍

Batteries and mount let this down
Very good image quality and video qualitySteady clear images. The battery only lasts 60-90 mins after a full charge .AlsoThe mount supplied for the seat post , to mount camera facing backwards. The mount supplied does rub your legs a bit.Your aware the mount is thereThe bolts stick out to the front quite a bit
