Saphir Medaille d'Or Mink Oil Polish - Natural Smooth Leather Conditioner

This mink oil is such high quality and worked very well to nourish and restore some very scuffed vachetta on my vintage Louis Vuitton. No conditioner or oil can fix actual cracks but this product was superior to all others I’ve tried to coat, protect, and restore scuffed leather. It’s outstanding and worth every penny. I’ve also resorted a vintage coach with the black and neutral cordovan polish from this brand.

I used to use highly rated cheap leather care. They work in short term, but after about 1-2 year, the leather will no longer be very shiny. This product doesn't have harsh chemical and keep leather soft and shiny. 2.5x price of base leather product. But i recommend to use it on mid and high end leather good.

This stuff is amazing. A little goes a long way. The first bottle I ordered was not correct. The inside had a hair in it and tons of the product was scooped out of it. I submitted a return and purchased another one. The new one that just arrived is perfect does not have a hair in it and is filled to the top.

I had a pair of Horween Chromexcel leather loafers which were a little uncomfortable to wear due to the leather’s stiffness. Chromexcel is normally notorious for being supple and giving. Not with this pair! I applied this mink oil and put stretchers in these shoes. Voila! What a beautiful transformation from rigidly tight to soft and flexible. Definitely rescued a pair of fine loafers from the Goodwill bin. Great on belts, too. This is a too quality leather conditioner.

I decided to dye a bag after receiving one and I did not love the color. Great brand or dyes and this conditioner is chefs kiss. I am now using it on all my leather goods. A little bit goes a long way, so great value for the money.

So I realize this isn't probably the intended use for this product but I have a reclining leather couch. When new it was perfect but over time when you reclined the couch made an annoying noise as the leather cushion rubs against the arm of the couch. My wife says its because I am fat. Then her side started doing it. LOL. I placed a bit of the mink oil in between the cushion and the arm of the couch and presto! No more squeaking. There was talk of getting another couch because it annoyed her so much. Nope. Keeping this couch. It just needed a little love lube with mink oil.

This mink oil is magical. Unlike the cheaper mink oils that are greasy, make a mess on the leather, and prevent the leather from wax-shined, the Saphir one is entirely not greasy and allows the footware to be later shined by wax.

Best product for looking after your shoes. It's worth the investment. Totally revitalises the leather and isn't too oily like other products. I use it all the time when working on paying customers' shoes.

触った質感はかなり硬いですが、指で触ると体温で溶けて液状になります。指先に付着したオイルは革に塗ると薄く伸びてくれるので、オイルの塗りすぎにはなりにくいです。 塗った後の革はしっとりもっちりとした質感になるので、硬い革を柔らかくしたいときには有効かなと思いました。履き始めの痛い時期に塗ってあげるとストレスなく靴を慣らすことができると思います。ただ、塗りすぎると革が柔らかくなり過ぎて型崩れするので注意が必要です。

雨でもガシガシ革靴を履けるよう、防水目的に購入。 ミンクオイルは革の色を濃くするのでそこだけは注意。 オイルドレザーに軽く重ね塗りして防水力アップ。 靴の革がすごく保湿され柔らかくなったので 使用頻度少ないベルト等色々塗りまくりました。 特に２０年以上前購入し手入れを怠ってきたＬＶエピの ボストンバッグが柔らかくなって光沢も復活して大満足。
