Bottled Up Designs creates truly beautiful earrings from abandoned glass products. The color of my earrings is a dark turquoise, the lever-backed earrings are sturdy but discrete, so there is no concern about losing one. The glass is contained within a very pretty and ornate filagree casing. Not only will I be purchasing additional earrings from this company, but will certainly consider ordering some for gifts. They came in a pretty box, too.

I bought these earrings about a year ago and they are still one of my favorite pairs in my huge collection of earrings. I just love them and wear them on special occasions or just when I want to feel special. When I first discovered these earrings, I had a hard time deciding which color glass earrings to order. I love that they contain vintage Mason jar glass. I went with the color that compliments most of my outfits. The metal work is excellent and I love how the glass is held in place within the metal case. I do wish the metal was sterling silver, as I normally only order earrings contains this metal. However, the earrings are very comfortable to wear, and the alloy does not irritate my sensitive ears. Some of my friends asked about the earrings and wanted to know where I got them. I directed the to the sellers Amazon store page, where you can find a selection of these and other beautiful earrings.

They are pretty. Smaller than they look in the Amazon picture. What I like about them is why I bought them; they are different and not generic with the same department store design and style. The workmanship on the sterling is great. They are dainty and light to wear. The test will be time and how they age either like cheap costume jewelry or like some custom-made pieces that looks better with age. Regardless, for the price I am delighted. Cons: They are almost too small and could easily fit a young teen better than a woman and the glass is dark and not as opaque Colbalt as in the photos. Turns out the glass is from a Noxzema jar from 1960-ish through the 70s. Non important details but not quite the antique glass I thought. I am happy with the earrings and if they do not irritate my ears or turn green, I will buy more.
