IROIRO Premium Natural Semi-Permanent Hair Color 140 Platinum (8oz)

Imagine walking down the street with your gray hair gently blowing in the wind like Storm from X-Men. It's hot. I've been dying my hair in different shades of gray because I think it looks pretty slick on a younger person, and, it's doable by anyone these days.For the quickest way to gray, I bleach my black hair until it gets to 8 or 9 on the hair color lightness scale. Then I just use a dye like this Iroiro product (versus using purple shampoos and conditioners). It's semi permanent, so touch-ups are necessary if you want to maintain the color.— COLOR INTENSITY —This Platinum color is a very dark gray. Very dark. If you want a lighter gray, you will need to mix this with a neutral mixer like Joico Clear Mixer, in a 2:1 or 1:1 ratio (dark:clear). It requires a bit of experimenting to find the right ratio you like.If you're not sure, you can start darker, and wash your hair to lighten it over time. Since I prefer to keep my gray color longer, I mainly wash my hair with only water, or, use very little shampoo. If you use too much shampoo, it will wash out a lot of the platinum color.— COLOR TINT —There is a slight purplish tint to this product. It is more obvious under cool (blue) lights, but, looks gray under warm (orange-ish) lights. I've tried several gray dyes and have yet to find one without a tint, so I can live with the tint issue. The tint slowing fades after a week or two of light hair washing.— SUMMARY —I previously used the Joico Titanium color (which has a prominent bluer tint), but this Iroiro brand gives you twice as much for a little less money, with a less tinted color. Try gray today. Recommended.

I'm using gray semi-permanent toners to blend my "light brown hair with some silver roots" as I grow out my natural color. I'm looking for a strongly pigmented gray that I can dilute with conditioner so make it last longer. The first photo was heavily diluted with conditioner and left on overnight - too pale for my taste. The second photo was maybe 20% conditioner and left on for two hours. The color is a decent gray although it has more of a purple tone than is noticed in the photo. The IROIRO Platinum was applied to level 10 bleached hair (avoiding my 2" of root growth). Not sure I would order this again before trying some other brands. I feel it's not quite what I was looking for although it really is a good color with my root grow out...Don't know about the staying power yet....

I had high hopes for this hair dye. I usually use Pravana Chromasilk Vivids in Silver to maintain my grey hair. I bought Iroiro Platinum because it looked darker without the blue/purple undertones all the other grey dyes seem to have. I bleached my roots the day before using this dye. At first, I was happy that Iroiro had coconut oil in it since I bleach my hair a lot but, after using it, it made my hair SOOO greasy! It also barely dyed my hair. The parts that were still very slightly silver from the Pravana are only a little bit darker than they were before dyeing and my roots didn't pick up the color at all!! I left this dye on for 2 hours. Will not be buying again. The only reason I even gave this dye 2 stars is because it smelled nice.

Not as dark as I'd want the color to be. I was hoping for a dark charcoal. Unfortunately, my hair does not get light enough to see results of color but it really conditions the hair. My hair is black so after bleaching it was pretty orange. This color toned my hair to an ashy brown.

WONDERFUL, true-grey hair dye. Unlike Pravana Silver and Joico Titanium, this dye does not have a blue bias. It's a true, neutral grey. Good coverage and lasts very well for a grey dye. I will be buying more Iroiro in the future.

Didn't work on my hair, barely tinted it. I bleached my hair to a very pale blonde and this made it look like a mousy, dirty blonde. I even kept it on for 2 hours and heated it for 30 minutes. It does smell really nice and made my hair very soft, but I'm a bit bummed that it didn't work, since I got the big pouch so it would cover all my hair.

Iro grey isn't as dark as it looks on the pic but still a great grey color and you can leave it on forever

Slightly darker than I thought it would be but in a great way. It's not too blue or purple like most other grey dyes. It smells good and left my hair feeling very soft
