Perfect edging for separating rock foot paths from garden beds!
It is a good, quality edging product. All we had to do is lay it out for a short while to get it to stop curling up and lay flat. We dug a trench area where we wanted to put it, then layed it in. It is firm, but easy to install. Our garden area looks more finished with it, and we love that it is a recycled product. We liked it so much that we orderd 2 more rolls to put in the back of our garden beds to lay against the fence and keep the soil from escaping through the fence. We also used it to separate our garden beds from our rock path, works great. We love the 5 inch height, as we can bury 2 inches of it and still have 3 good inches to use, and as long as we have something on both sides of it (in our case rock on one side, soil on the other) we've never had to use stakes to keep it in place. It works very well for what we used it for, and we would purchase it again in the future if needed.

easy to use, great looking and very very affordable!
i had been shopping for edging options in and around houston. i need cheap and wanted something nice. when my order arrived, i was surprised how sturdy and good looking this edging is. i was a little shy- well, very shy- for a few weeks after receiving it because i knew i would ahve to cut and i would have to commit to the shape of the area i was going to edge off. straight? curved? i didn't know. i also was wondering how to cut this stuff to size.i followed the advice of another reviewer and uncoiled the roll and laid it flat in my backyard while i decided.how to cut: OMG! i shouldn't have worried. i used a hack saw. don't know what blade. whatever was in there when i picked it up from my tool box but it was so easy to cut that i think any saw will do. (my big fat cardboard cutting scissors didn't make a dent and neither did the kitchen shears.i will be buying another 40ft stretch to complete the edge of my walkway soon.BTW- i ordered the Suncast 8-Inch Metal Garden Stakes to use with this. They are good but they are way too much money . Its a great choice but Lowe's has a reasonably close version of these stakes and they are only $2.38 for pkg of 3

Durable Landscape Edging.
This landscaping edging is good. We let it sit in the sun after we removed the packsging and unrolled it. The warmth of the sun does make it more manageable. The material is sturdy, and the color of the product is uniform and is tte same as shown online. My only two complaints are that you can not make a 90 degree angle with this edging. We wanted to have 2 90 degree corners on the back of the area and a free forming curve in the front. The corners would be more attractive with the pavers we put on that side. The other issue is that the area of the edging around the stakes kind of warp after a few weeks. I do not think i would have left in the supports if i knew it would look like this. That said, i subtracted one star, because the issues i enountered seemed to be specific to my Landscaping project needs, and are not a material flaw. I definitely would have designed the area differently if I knew about the corners needing to be curved. We have had it installed for about a month now, and the landscape edging looks the same as when we installed it.

Attractive and Easy to use!
This looks great and works well. I used it for tree circles of three feet diameter and I found it surprising easy to use. I lined it around worn black plastic edging that was 12 years old but was functionally sound. The Brown definitely looked better I thought than the black color edging because it seems to pop out in a well kept green lawn. I also used it for a circle that had white stone in it and a two feet diameter flower pot centered on top of the stone. The black edging that was already there was functioning but was 17 years old and was getting ugly and marked up. Stone is heavy and I am not sure if this Terrace Board would be able to hold the weight alone. I have 4 inches of stone in the circle so there is considerable weight but I knew the older black edging would hold it because it was staked well. Basically I used this brown terrace board to make the circles look better. After all that is why you make tree circles because you want them to look attractive! The stakes worked however because I was making circles I used 10 stakes per circle to keep the terrace board in place. I had no problem with overlapping the terrace board and using the stakes to hold 2 rows of terrace board. Just carefully open up the clip a little with a flathead screwdriver and then hammer it in. It will work just be careful and take your time. If you are not making circles or curves you can space out the stakes more for straight areas. But you do need more stakes for circles and curves than in straight applications! This Terrace Board is a deep Chocolate Brown color so it looks great with brown, tan or black mulch, white stone and light pink stone. The only thing I have seen it used for that I did not like was the red colored mulch. Other than that it looks great with everything I have seen it used for. The stakes were easy to use and you get ten in each package. I think most people who use edging do it for looks first and functionality second. This product works well for both of those goals!
