I purchased these because I got a Dell laptop that was great, but the wrist rest area was very slippery and made typing less pleasant. The silicone sheets are perfect to prevent slipping when trying to type! These little sheets adhere well, even going over the little graphics card and processor stickers that are too much of a pain to remove. They don't interfere with closing the laptop, and probably provide a little bit of cushioning for the monitor. It they end up leaving marks on the monitor over time I will adjust my review, but I doubt they will.The TL;DR Version? These adhere well, provide some much needed grip for my slippery, non-Apple laptop, and don't interfere with closing the lid. A+ product.
