This stuff is amazing - I’m making centerpieces for my wedding and I had ordered some fake gold candle holders and they were way too yellow and plastic looking. This was super easy to apply (even though I missed some spots that you can see in the photo - the one on the right has the rub and buff applied, the left is the original). I actually just used an old sock for these but the brushes included in the kit work fine for smaller surface areas. It also seems to come off easily with a magic eraser. This made my candle holders look much more real and antique like, super happy with this!

I had never used this wax before. I ordered a new clawfoot tub for my 100+ year old house. The claw feet were too shiny and new. A light coat of pewter rub and buff took care of that, aging the feet gracefully. Easy to use, I watched some YouTube videos and followed advice to use my finger as applicator. I love the look.

I accidentally “invented” rub n buff last week then learned it already existed and their version is better lol. I put the Bible in a book press and used the tools to rub n buff away. The tools were a major help. Made it so much easier. I’ve tried several “gilding” methods including actual gilding. This one has been the cheapest and smoothest.

Works surprisingly well. Covers and colors well, but not very metallic looking. That little tube covers a huge area. A little goes a long, long way.

Wow! This stuff was amazing. I wanted to change the look of my ceiling fan but didn’t know how I could because I can’t just spray paint the motor assembly part. I came across Rub N Buff and decided to give it a try. I am very pleasantly surprised. I had a rust brown fan and wanted something in the brushed nickel finish. I bought the Rub N Buff in color Pewter and it is perfect! It completely covered the brown and left me with a nice brushed nickel like finish.The applicators that came in this pack worked perfectly. I tried other methods of applying, like sponge brushes, paper towels, rags, etc… but these handy applicators worked perfectly to apply and rub it to a great finish.A little goes a long way too, I failed to check the size of the tube before I ordered and I was disappointed to see a tiny tube when I opened my package. I thought there was absolutely no way this teeny tiny tube would cover my bag more ceiling fan, but I barely used 1/3 of the tube! I’m excited to see what else I can use it for!

Maybe I used this completely wrong, but I didn't get great coverage trying to change a chrome fixture to black. It was quite messy too.
