I love this drink mix, it’s my favorite flavor, and color lol. My husband even likes it, and he usually doesn’t like drink mixes. We usually go up to the .99¢ to get them, but with the pandemic, we don’t get out much anymore. That’s why I was so thrilled to find them online, less so when I saw they were $2 a box. I know, I know, $2 a box is not a lot of money, nor is it even a bad price, but when you’re on a fixed income, every dollar helps. No problems with the seller, and the shipping was very fast. They got here all in one piece, and the seller even included a candy recipe. (Which I thought was very nice). If you’re like me though, and on a fixed budget, you’re better off at the .99¢ store. In a pinch though, or if you don’t mind spending the extra $6, these will definitely do. Thank you!!

Those looking for strawberry flavoring are likely to be disappointed. This is not a fruit juice, and it doesn't pretend to be - instead, it is like liquid candy. It has a strong artificial strawberry flavor and is quite sweet. My family recently picked up several flavors of powdered drink add-in and find this less to our tastes than some of the others, but my candy connoisseur son stands by the fidelity of this to Starburst Pink Strawberry candy. If those are a favorite for you, this might be, too. One thing we do like, about all these packets, is the ability to vary the intensity of the flavor to suit the individual palate. You can stretch these a fairly long way if you want just a hint. The cost is a bit high compared to some I can buy locally, specifically Hawaiian Punch, but the flavor variation is nice, and they aren't the costliest diet mix-in option around. At less than a single soda, they're a good to-go option.

I’ve tried a few different flavors of these water-enhancers based on some brand or product. I’ve tried a different Starburst flavor, a Sunkist pineapple one, and a watermelon Jolly Rancher flavor in addition to this Strawberry Starburst. I can’t remember the last time I’ve had a Starburst candy, so I can’t really say whether this tastes like that or not. I found that the Watermelon Jolly Rancher one tasted exactly like watermelon Jolly Ranchers, so maybe. This does not, however, taste anything like a strawberry. I think fake orange flavor in drinks taste more like an actual orange than this tastes like a strawberry, and those don’t taste anything like oranges. The other Starburst drink that I tried was blue raspberry. I think of the four drinks that I’ve tried, this is my least favorite, which is somewhat odd given that I typically like strawberry-flavored candies. I wasn’t super keen on the other Starburst one I tried either, but Blue Raspberry is a candy flavor I don’t typically care for, so I wasn’t too surprised. I did, however, think that that one basically tasted like fake blue raspberry, so at least the flavor was somewhat familiar. I’m pretty sure that I liked Starburst candy when I did have it, so I don’t know. Maybe that flavor just works better for me as a chewy candy than a drink. I’ll have to look into trying the cherry, fruit punch, and lemon flavors as I think I’d be more predisposed toward liking them. I find these powders to be fairly strong, so you may need to experiment with the amount of water you add to get the flavor you want. And while I like this, I don’t think I’d want to drink a lot of this by itself. However, I think it will be great when adding it to other things. For example, I could see adding this to a mixture that I put together that includes tomato juice and coconut water plus various other things like protein powder. These are pretty inexpensive, and they have almost no calories, so I think a variety of these sorts of things are handy to have around. Most of what I drink is just water, and I’m happy to continue drinking unflavored water, but sometimes it’s refreshing to have a burst of flavor.

I wrote a one star review a few weeks ago but Amazon didn’t publish it. Notice none of the reviews are from 2023. This stuff is an assault on my palate. It’s just plain nasty. It tastes like sweetened chemicals, all nasty chemicals. I can take a little chemical but this is not close to little. If you like the taste of nasty chemicals then you’ll like this, maybe.

I’m a “pink” only kind of starbucks fan so once I saw this drink mix I knew I had to try it. I honestly thought it would be overwhelming since I never thought of drinking a starburst before, but this tastes amazing. It is very sweet tasting but not overwhelming. It is only 5 calories for a serving so this is a great substitute to sugary cola or sports drinks. I used this in a shaker, so the powder mixed well with my water and dissolved easily. Overall, I would definitely recommend this and would purchase it for myself in the future.
