Purchased for my 9 year old sons birthday- opened it yesterday pluged it in as per directions- will not turn on, unless pluged into the wall- contacted Dograce through email this morning, will change review once resolved by the company.He was so excited to use it this morning, very dissapoonted.Other than that it seems like a complete package all you need as a start up kit- only thing missing is a small straight “selfie” stick but you can use the helmit attachment for that.*UPDATE 8/12/18 Contacted the company immediately got a reply the next buisness day. They sent a brand new camera. Customer service rep was kind, understanding, and on the ball. They sent out a new camera and Recieved the camera with in a week of the 1st email I sent. They dod not make me re-package up the broken camera and ship it back which was a great convienience and there were many friendly e-mails exchanged with the rep to make sure that we got what we paid for, and it was working as it should.Camera works as expected and he really is having fun and getting creative!

Bought as an xmas gift for 10 yo. He is loving it. I didn't read that it requires an SD card so that was a fail on my part but it's easy to use, lots of features and he is excited to use it!

I bought the camera to take to Niagra Falls for my daughter to use when we are in some of the mist/close to the falls/water activities. I wanted something waterproof and easy to use. It’s pretty intuitive and my daughter was able to easily figure it all out and use the display panel and buttons. Perfect for our needs.

I have twin 6 year olds. I purchased one of these little cameras for their birthday imagining how fun they would have taking videos. The cameras were broke in two weeks. When they stopped working, we couldn't get them to charge. Once we got them charging, we discovered that half of the screen was messed up. The screens did work at first, but after a few weeks, half of their screens had spider web type lines going through them. I feel that if this is going to be advertised as a kid product that they ought to be much more durable. My children are pretty well behaved. We have had Kindle fires last for 6 years with no issues, and a mini iPad take the abuse of children with no problems. These little cameras are definitely not worth it as a kid product. I am very disappointed.
