Rawlings Men's Cage Jacket

A couple quick points.I am 5'10" 220# with a 47" chest and should for small in the heart of the XL sizing. However, this looks big and baggy. The shoulders hang, the mid section just flaps around (worse when the waist is cinched). Just overall a poor fit. I thought about ordering a large but Amazon doesn't carry it and I don't feel like risking something I can't return.Unlike what others have reported, mine does not have side pockets. The Easton M5 does and they are very nice and subtle, but this one does not.The nice part of this jacket is the raised collar that does give a good fit/feel when the zipper is up and a polished look when it's down. Very comfortable.In the end I also ordered a XL in the Easton M5 which I'll be keeping. Overall the Easton looks better, fits better (despite the fact I should be in an XXL per the size chart), and has pockets. The only downside to the Easton is the collar comfort. Not that it's uncomfortable, just not as nice as the Rawlings.At the time of purchase the Rawlings was $35 vs the Easton at $24.

I recently bought three weather resistant wind shirts after researching several shirt lines and vendors. I bought all 3 from amazon and this shirt is my favorite and most chosen to wear. It is high quality, light weight, nicely styled and has two zippered side pockets,I wear it over T or polo shirts when the weather or circumstances are damp or windy, and over a sweat or micro fleece long sleeve shirt when it is moderately cold, or when driving my Mini Cooper S convertible with the top down--the shirt has performed well under these described circumstances and elevates the need to wear more bulky clothes to stay warm. Thanks to those responsible for the product and Amazon (I am a big fan of the company and the way the do business).

I have had this for a year and a half now, and it has held up quite well. No rips or tears or fraying of the fabric. It is thin, lightweight, windbreaker type material. Can be worn by itself or over a shirt. It is pullover design. Over a shirt it is quite warm on a windy day, cuts the wind very well. Comfortable by itself on a cool but not cold day. Can be too warm on a hot day, but ok if worn by itself. XL fits well and as expected. Rawlings design looks stylish and often elicits compliments.

This is the 3rd of this particular jacket that I have bought. This is the lightest of the wind jackets and it breathes the best. Does not have the heavy "plastic" feel. Works great in the Texas heat. Now, if you need more wind protection, buy a different one.

XXXL is true to size if not a big bigger which is great news. I was afraid this cage jacket would be really wide and short in length (which happens often when ordering larger sizes) but this length is perfect. Many times when I order XXXL online, they tend to be a bit smaller but not this cage jacket.

I use this jacket as an outer layer while doing resistance training (lifting weights). It allows free movement and protects from excessive air conditioning, particularly after a cardio workout. I also own similar jackets made by Nike and Mizuno. This is clearly the best looking and most comfortable. The Nikes have stood the test of time, we'll see about this one.

Great material, lightweight, breathable. Order the same size as your tee shirt size. Fits nicely over tee shirts and polos. I ordered this one and the Under Armour cage 1/4 zip, and returned the Under Armour. Just ordered my second Rawlings. Great purchase! Wear it every tie the opportunity presents itself.

My husband is one of the coaches of my son's baseball team and wanted a jacket to match the team's colors. This one looks good, fits as expected. Only issue is that it doesn't have pockets. A sports jacket without pockets is pretty annoying and less useful.

The shipping was very timely. Jacket looks great. The sizing was good. I wear xl jackets and this xl jacket fits the same as every thing else. Only dislike is the jacket is a lot thinner material than I thought it would be.

Lighter material than I thought. That's ok. Really nice jacket. Fits good. We'll see about durability after a long softball season and tourneys:)

As advertised. Exactly what I was looking for.
