Great lead for on the go, great quality for the price~!
These lead refills are great, I find they don't snap easily and fit well in my pencil holders (I use Pentel pencils). The lead color is dark, which makes for great contrast when writing or drawing. I can read my notes without a problem. There is also a good range of sizes and grades of lead from this brand, all reasonably priced. I'm still working through my second refill so these should last you a very long time. The lead's container is also pretty sturdy, I feel comfortable throwing it in my bags without much fuss because it won't break or open up by accident. So that's another reason to get these, if you write or draw a lot on the go.

Smooth + Not too fragile.
Great value for the price. Works really well for people with smaller hand writing. The writing experience will be a bit different if you're used to 0.7s or 1.0s, but it's easy to get used to. Now that I've been using these, I can't imagine going back to the bigger sizes. :) I especially recommend these if you need to take precise notes. (I've also used 0.3s, but those can take a bit of getting used to as well. All up to personal preference.)

Smooth, Reliable, and Perfect for Precision – 0.5mm Mechanical Pencil Lead
**Title: Smooth, Reliable, and Perfect for Precision – 0.5mm Mechanical Pencil Lead**⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)I recently started using 0.5mm mechanical pencil lead, and it’s quickly become my go-to choice for precision writing and drawing. If you're someone who appreciates sharp, clean lines, whether for school, work, or artistic purposes, this lead is an absolute game-changer.First, the precision of the 0.5mm size is perfect for tasks that require fine details. Whether I'm taking notes, drafting, or sketching, the lines it produces are consistently sharp and clear, which helps me stay focused on accuracy without worrying about smudges or broken tips. The 0.5mm lead strikes a balance between the finer, fragile 0.3mm and the broader, bulkier 0.7mm, offering the ideal thickness for detailed work while still providing some durability for everyday writing. It’s particularly fantastic for technical drawings, graphs, and even intricate handwriting. The lead is also impressively smooth. I’ve used other brands in the past, but this particular lead glides effortlessly across the paper, with minimal resistance. There’s no dragging or skipping, and the experience of writing feels fluid and satisfying. I don’t experience frequent breakage, which is a huge plus since nothing is more frustrating than having to constantly snap off broken pieces. Even with continuous use, it holds up really well, making my writing process more efficient and enjoyable. In terms of durability, this 0.5mm lead is surprisingly tough. While it's fine enough for detail work, it doesn't wear down too quickly, meaning I can use it for longer writing sessions before needing to refill. I’ve noticed that it doesn’t smudge as easily as some other leads, which is especially important when I’m taking notes or writing with precision. The lead’s durability also means I’m not wasting as much, giving me more value for the price. One of the best aspects of this 0.5mm mechanical pencil lead is its versatility. Whether I’m using it in a standard office setting, taking notes in class, or sketching on a more creative project, it handles each task with ease. The consistent line quality makes it ideal for anyone who needs reliable, smooth writing in a variety of contexts.Overall, I highly recommend this 0.5mm mechanical pencil lead for anyone looking for a sharp, precise, and smooth writing experience. It’s reliable, durable, and perfect for everything from everyday note-taking to detailed artistic sketches. I’ll definitely be sticking with this lead for all my mechanical pencil needs!

Best price but crumbly quality haha
A few complaints and compliments so far. Sturdy and have a cool little container so they don't all fall out. Nice dispensing method innovative. Does break easier then others so that is not that good.

This product deserves 10 stars!
1. These come in 4 packs, all in a reclosable, clear envelope so they are easy to find in your cluttered desk drawer. Better still, the nifty lead containers have an easy-open feature that allows just 1 or 2 leads to shake out, even if you drop the container like I did.2. Being clear, the heavy plastic container tells you at a glance what's left.3. 4B, 0.7mm leds are a shade darker than a #2 pencil, and can easily be made darker still by just pressing a little harder because the lead is softer, as well.4. Being soft means they are easier to erase. In summation, these are as close as I have found to the prefect lead for my mechanical pencils, which I use instead of ballpoints for nearly everything except signs or letters.Why?1. Pencil will not smear like gel pens, (even the ones that advertise they don't) if you get them wet or have sweaty hands.2. Pencil does not fade. Even Sharpies fade over time and quickly when exposed to sunlight.3. Contrary to what you might think, pencil never goes away. Shipp's logs from the 1600s that are still legible have been found at the bottom of a thousand feet of ocean.3. Pencil is, obviously, easy to erase.4. Pencil is made from sustainable material.

Great
These pencil leads are exactly what I needed for everyday writing and drawing. They’re smooth and write nicely without breaking easily. The hardness is just right, and they produce clean, dark lines. For the price, the quality is really impressive. I’ve used other leads that feel scratchy or break all the time, but these hold up well and last a long time.If you want reliable pencil leads that work well and don’t cost too much, these are a great choice. Definitely worth buying!

Great lead for writing and drawing
Great pencil leads and they have good, dark imprint without graphite dust. I was happy to see that even though the marks on the paper were dark, they didn't smudge which is great, because I am left handed. I shared with my son and I will totally buy these again.
