These worked great for a project I completed; attaching wafer cutters to a 2 1/2" diameter wooden knob. I did not need flat washers since the screws have large diameter heads. Even though the description states that the screws are self-tapping, I would suggest predrilling a small pilot hole first depending on your situation.

Quality screw, amazing price

Used almost 3000 of these on a truss modification project. Installed with a rachet drill set to a fairly high torque. Only broke a couple of them when they hit a hard knot in the wood. Out of 3000 there were only 2 or three that had a defective head, so no big deal. Overall, they are good quality wood screws. I would definitely purchase them again.

These are indeed magnetic but 410 (as well as other grades) stainless IS magnetic. If you absolutely need non-ferritic stainless look for 304 or 316 grade stainless. These will work for me but if you're near the ocean, look for something else.

Good amount of screws for the price

I don't know if a screw review is even appropriate, but I'm gonna' do it! When I needed black screws for a project, I didn't want just any screw. They had to look clean and as if they came as part of the project. These did the job, and then some! The finish didn't flake off of the heads when screwed in, they went in with little effort, and you would never know they were purchased excess to the job! (Well, I take that back - many self-assembly items I've purchased have screws that strip or bend or the head breaks off - none of that happened with these screws!) Want a good black-finished screw? These are for you!

Hard to find truss head in stainless steel. Good purchase.

Firstly, I needed screws that will grip. These guys self feed well, and hold on for dear life. The head looked big enough to not need washers. Indeed the head is big enough, and have a bit of a gloss on it. They look very nice too. This is a very satisfactory purchase!
