Bought this for my 7 year old grandson for Christmas. He Absolutely loved it. Great track speed and lots of fun.

I bought this for my nephew for Xmas and he had a fun building and playing on Boxing Day. It’s not too big but big enough to have good races. Also better powered so a bit more mobile..

Was at a cracking price when I bought

You can only use 6 AA batteries, and not rechargeable ones. You have the option to buy the extra piece of track which will accept another optional power transformer and discard (land fill) the battery holder with track piece. I know this is a fairly cheap toy but I would say this an immoral practice these days? I am going to buy a battery eliminator and not play into their cumming marketing methods.Another note, the small cars have trouble driving up the ramps and can get stuck with their wheel base being so short. The supports for the raised track are not tall enough to keep the track level with the top of the ramp pieces. We had to add a book to keep the raised track level.I would have thought this might have been noticed when product development testing?It works, just about. My child loves it, he is four. It annoys me, I am 47.
