Easy and fast installation. Used to replace the ones that came with the lights. They were all bent up these were the same but in excellent shape.

This is identified as a surface mount kit for a Lithonia 2’x2’ or 2’x4’ LED Flat light. This description is only partially correct. It fits some models of these lights but not all models. I don’t see any way from the website to discriminate between the model it does or doesn’t fit. There are identifying numbers on the paperwork inside the box but not on the website.You will have to order one and see if it fits if not send it back. Pay careful attention to the amount of time you have to return it. Because my handyman couldn’t get to my project quickly my return privilege timed out.Now I’m stuck with a surface mount kit that fits - nothing.

First thing to know about this bracket is that the instruction are terrible. There is very little detail in them and if you are not good at figuring this stuff out on your own you should plan on watching a few videos that are available about this bracket. The bracket works for a few different sizes and styles of lights, and it can be very confusing to figure out which parts to use for your fixture and how to mount them to the fixture. The instructions don't really provide much help here.Next thing you need to know about this is that it offers zero flexibility in where the mounting holes have to go. There is essentially no possible way you can get all four on ceiling joists and in most applications you probably won't get any into a beam. That means you are pretty much stuck using the supplied toggle anchors. The bracket itself is so flimsy and difficult to manage that locating the holes by using the bracket itself as a template is impossible. Your best bet is to use a laser to lay out all the holes in advance then drill for the anchors.I DO like the that the light clips into this bracket and can hang from the little cables to make installing the wiring easier. That's about all I like about this bracket.

Fit as expected, no issues, even purchased from warehouse deals.

Instructions are not that clear. It took me an hour to figure this one out. I could probably do the next one in 25 minutes.It is a great product.

While this product does work, it's constructed with the thinnest sheet metal I've ever seen. Seriously, it's like the side of a soda can. It makes it difficult to install because you have to support both ends while you mark, drill, and screw in. If you don't the ultra thin sheet metal connecting the two ends gives way, bends in half, and the other end of the bracket flops down.

We tried to fix the light supposed to be attached to itDidn't work and I'm handy flipping house from top to bottom (plumbing, electricity ...)3 hours of struggle I just returned it.
