Physically compatible with my 2010 Sprinter keyfob, with only one minor difference...
We have a 2010 Sprinter, and at some point, the key ring loop broke off of my wife's key. Finding an exact match turned out to be a bit expensive for unknown reasons... to the tune of over $100 for a *used* keyfob. (I had checked both Amazon and Ebay.) But in my search, I stumbled upon this empty shell, for 1/10th the price. While Amazon labels it as not compatible with my vehicle, I found myself looking very closely at it... and as far as I could tell, the only difference between this shell and our original shell is that panic button at the bottom: our keyfobs have a black button to open the rear doors in that position, instead of a panic button. I decided to take a chance and chuck ten bucks at this thing, to see if my instincts were correct. I'm glad I did.Getting the original keyfob open was the only real difficulty, but YouTube helped somewhat with that; I highly recommend watching multiple howto videos before trying to pry the thing open. I believe that I might have also been able to replace that red button with the original button from my old keyfob, but I decided not to push my luck that far. (I'm keeping that piece from the original keyfob for now, in case I change my mind.)Bottom line, I successfully transferred over the electronics and the flip-key to this new empty shell, my wife's key is back on her key ring and everything works perfectly; one differently colored button on an otherwise pristine new keyfob shell is a very small trade for saving the cash. Extremely satisfied.

Extremely Disappointed with Flimsy Fob
I cannot express how disappointed I am with this fob. While it may claim to be easy to break down, install, and put back together, the reality is far from it.The plastic case of this fob is incredibly flimsy and prone to spreading apart when the key is inserted into the ignition. This slight movement is all it takes for the fob to pop apart, resulting in frustration and inconvenience. It is unacceptable that a supposedly functional product cannot withstand such basic usage. To make matters worse, the design flaw poses a significant risk if the chip is lost. Without the chip, the fob becomes useless, leaving you in a helpless situation. It is astonishing that a product with such a critical flaw was even released to the market. In light of these issues, I strongly advise against purchasing this fob. It is clear that the quality and durability of this product are severely lacking. I highly recommend exploring alternative options that are better made and offer a more secure design.Save yourself the hassle and frustration. Look for a fob that is constructed with higher quality materials and provides a reliable user experience. It is a shame that this product falls so short of expectations.Overall, I am extremely disappointed with this fob and regret my purchase.

Worked to restore 2014 Sprinter key
Just picked up a 2014 Sprinter, and one of the remote keys that came with it was seriously abused and missing its eject button and spring. After a brief struggle to pry both old and new key cases apart, I successfully transferred the remote electronics, security chip, and original key blade into this new case. Do not forget to transfer the security chip from your original key! It is located under the small white plastic tab near the IR/LED window on the top edge of the key, and is small enough that you may want to use tweezers and do the swap on a clean table or workbench in case you accidentally drop the tiny thing.I'm deducting one star from my rating because the eject button is a little bit sticky when closing the key. It takes a little bit of flexing to make the button pop out and keep the blade closed. This may very well be because I transferred the old/worn key blade into the new case. I'm hoping that it will loosen up after some use, but can always just take the new blank blade to a locksmith and have them duplicate the old blade if it continues to be annoying. The price and quality are adequate for my use, which is as a spare key in the lockbox only used for occasional road trips.....

Not a good fit.
I installed the electronics in new casing and It was not a good fit. Would not seal correctly and key would not work correctly. Like when you push the button to flip out the key, it would stick and not have a smooth flow like a switch blade. Poor design

This is just the shell of the fob you need to open your car
I used this to replace the key shell for my 2006 Chrysler Crossfire, it worked fine, but you need all the parts from the original key fob. The only problem with mine was that it had broken the part that holds it onto my key ring so I need to replace the shell, this worked perfectly.

You’ve got to use the given key or its going to break
It barely functions as intended for a week of daily use and then it splits open. You could try to fit your original key into it but it would be a hassle and look like it doesnt belong.

Perfect replacement for a Crossfire key fob.
The tough part is extracting the components of a worn out Crossfire key fob. Once you remove them, they will fit perfectly inside this pristine new case. Will buy another for my secondary key.
