BraunElectric Razor for Men, Series 3 310s Electric Foil Shaver, Rechargeable, Wet & Dry

For decades I've used Norelco electric shavers and generally been pleased with the results. My previous Norelco 5300 was about 2.5yrs old & it wasn't doing a good job anymore, so I purchased a Norelco 2400 & had similar problems with whiskers not being properly clipped, no matter what I did. I finally had to use a razor to get a clean shave. Maybe my whiskers are getting tougher at my advanced age?I still like a good electric shaver. After a lot more research, I decided to give this Braun foil shaver a try. I hadn't shaved for a few days & the very first shave with this Braun was perfect & very close & smooth. The 2nd shave today gave the same results, so it looks like I've found a better solution that I will be pleased with.

I AM IN LOVE! And its with with an electric razor. Full disclosure I have only had this razor for two days, but I have been shaving in agony for 43 years, and believe that I have finally found a life-changing shave. I have a heavy beard and I shave daily my face and skull clean, normally resulting in a painful bloody mess. In two blissful, comfortable, nick-free, close-shaved days, all of that seems to have been changed by the BRAUN 3. Without meaning to sound dramatic: where have you been all my life Braun 3?!? The option to shave wet with shaving foam makes all the difference, but this little moderately priced gem is a must-buy. To be fully reasonable, I should probably check back in a five or six months, but after a few days of use, I am deeply impressed with this gem.

I compared this to an older battery powered (AA) Braun foil shaver that my dad has. After shaving the back of our necks with this new Braun, we went over it with the old (very old) Braun, and the oil shaver was cutting apparently very short hairs that the new one didn't cut.I'm guessing that the old one has a quite thin foil, probably never having been replaced, so my theory is that the thinner foil means shorter pieces of stubble reach the blade. So maybe the foil on this new one will eventually wear down to where it cuts as close as the old one. Strange.But it does work well, and the stubble that the old one got, probably isn't something very visible, but it could probably be felt. The sideburn trimmer on this new one is a nice design, especially if cutting someone else's hair, since you can easily see where the trimmer is going to contact.. compared to some other designs where the trimmer blade pops out at a strange angle in terms of usability.

I have a light beard, regardless, I found my 5 o'clock shadow appearing from 1pm. and being, while using my Norelco three headed rotary rechargeable shaver. despite regularly changing shaving heads, I commonly needed to clean up my morning shave with a razor.Out of frustration I researched and purchased a Braun wet/dry rechargeable. I am truly impressed with this shaver and the close shave it offers. I have not experienced any pulling, rashes, or patches of unshaved spots. there is no need for me to clean up with a razor. I dry shave and note the wet shave is just as good. This foil shaver, also allows for a replacement head down the road. A very good price point, from a reputable brand, for an excellent shave.

I hate shaving. Mostly because I can't grow a full beard, and what grows in its place is patchy and short and annoying and I have to get rid of it so I don't look crazy. I wanted something that I could use anytime, anywhere, and get the job done quickly. This electric razor does that. My shave is so fast now, and only takes about a minute and change. I could shave in no time everyday, but I don't have to because of how close it cuts. I never thought these things were worth the money, but they're pretty well-designed. I guess they're popular for a reason, huh?

Works nice. Not crazy for foil shavers. Feel like they're pulling out the hairs. Worst thing is hair goes down in the shaver and you can't get it out. Mine eventually broke but I got a good two years or so out of it. I'd buy it again if I couldn't find anything that looked better.

This is the 'real-deal' folks, for the price. I received this item earlier this morning, opened it up, & as soon as I felt the quality , weight, & the contur (design), I was pleased & was very certain, I will keep this one (unlike the two previous one I had ordered in the last month, & ended up returning). Although I am yet to read & see where it is made (we all know where), it does say " designed in Germany" ! And Germans don't play !!! Again, I haven't had it even for 24 hrs, used it once, & my hunch is that this one is a 'keeper' !

Gets the hard to grab hairs that others haven't been able to get.
