The hay arrived fresh, lot of flowers, and definitely first cut! My picky bunny loves it and I’m so glad to have found a hay she likes! I was getting concerned about her lack of hay intake because she wouldn’t eat the other brands like she eats this one. My only suggestion would be to cut down the hay pieces a bit into more manageable sizes, because I have to bend or break the hay to fit it into her feeding trough-it’s not a big deal, but would be great if the hey was a little more manageable size for the smaller pets. But this is a great product-thank you for the great quality! Will definitely be ordering again-I think I found our brand of choice!

Ordered multiple times. Always great quality. Never spoils and I love the environmental packaging. I feel good about feeding this to our Guinea pig and he’s a nice healthy senior (8 years old) that’s been happily munching on this brand for over a year. Not only has this brand been so efficient and effective in helping my bunny eat more hay, you can tell that the business itself takes very good care of their products and ships out good food for your pet! I am very loyal to this brand and have been purchasing this hay ever since I first ordered it. My bunny loves it and loves the orchard hay this brand offers even more as well! I highly recommend this product if you are trying to get your bunny to eat more hay and want a GOOD quality food for your pet. I have NEVER received bad or old hay from this brand, it is always fresh and smells so good that I almost wish I could eat it too!! 😂 Do you and your bun a favor by trying this hay, it will change the whole aspect of your bunnies health. My bunny is two years old and has never had any health issues of any sort and I consistently believe it is because of this good quality hay. I strongly believe the quality of the hay you feed your bun is what helps most with their health and digestive system. Highly recommend 10/10!!

My guinea pig love it thanks

I would love to give this hay 5 stars, as my piggles love it, but after ordering the 10lb boxes of this hay three separate times, I was a little disappointed with the inconsistent quality of the hay. I should mention, my guinea pigs have loved every box of this hay, which is why it still gets 4 stars. I ordered the 12oz bag of the first cutting of the hay to let my piggles try it. I was so impressed with the quality, I ordered the 10lb box. My first box was kind of dusty, and the hay looked a bit dull compared to the super green hay I'd received in the 12oz bag, and there were some brown parts I had to throw away. It still smelled fresh, and my pigs loved it so I kept it without complaints. The second box I ordered was everything I could've imagined, super green and super fresh smelling. The first cutting contains TONS of seed heads, which my piggles adore, but also a lot of thick stalky bits they never finish, so I end up having to discard quite a bit, even though they chow down on this hay. A few days ago I had my mom order the second cutting for me to see if I could waste less hay while cleaning their cage, and while there was a lot of fresh fragrant green hay, there was also quite a bit of brown hay as well. More than I'd ever received in any of the hay I'd ordered previously. And of course, as usual, my pigs still love this hay as well, so I will keep it. So, to sum everything up, would I recommend this brand? Sure, my piggles have loved every box of hay I've received from small pet select, but keep in mind, the quality may vary some from box to box.

This is the only hay I buy for my holland lop. The other brands have really let me down lately and this one is always fresh. My bunny can’t get enough of it.

bunny crack lol it smells good and its super green and fresh and my bunny was on oxbow timothy hay and he was just kinda like mehh about it but we switched to this hay and its like his drugs lol

This hay is way too dusty! All three of my guinea pigs got an upper respiratory infection that took over a month to Cure and cost me $800 in Vet bills!! I’m so mad! And unfortunately, I had to go back to a different company with smaller bags which cost more but have less dust! My guinea pigs love the first cutting mixed with third! The seed pods are their favorite!! it’s unfortunate. This company is not keeping up with dedusting like they should be! I seriously hope they try better to get all that dust out. It’s just too much and I’m not willing to kill my guinea pigs the same few dollars!

Primo pacco finito. La mia coniglietta ha apprezzato molto i fili lunghi e fibrosi e rispetto al precedente pacco di fieno (di altro marchio) ne ha sprecato molto di meno buttandolo sul fondo della gabbietta. Questo fieno è un 1°taglio, quindi con steli grossi e molto fibrosi e ora sto iniziando a provare il 2°taglio (più morbido) sempre di questo marchio. Devo dire che ha un prezzo leggermente più alto della media rispetto ad altri marchi, ma ne vale la pena per la qualità. Unico difetto che mi sento di riportare, anche se riconosco possa essere soggettivo, riguarda la scatola di cartone in cui è contenuto il fieno: non l'ho trovata granchè comoda e dentro il fieno è stipato nudo e crudo. Personalmente trovo più comodo stipare il fieno in un sacco. In generale sono soddisfatto e andrò avanti ad acquistarlo.

This hay is green, fresh, has long strands and is not full of dust, like other brands I can think of. If this quality continues I will be purchasing this hay from now on.

Amazing product itself but the second time I ordered delivery was delayed.

I lost how many months I’ve been serving this for my bunny and still in the first box. Quality is good and keeps bunnies healthy. The only recommendation is buying a very resistant gloves to help picking the hay because it may cut your skin when handling it.
