Efficient and powerful fur the price
Works great with my 3d printed jet. Very powerful and efficient . Will use due a twin EDF printed B2 !

Does not produce 900g of thrust.
They claim 900g on 4s. All I could get was 737g on a 4s 1800mah 150c pack. So not as much thrust as I was hoping but it is the smoothest running edf I've ever had.

Best of the Rest
I've bought 5 other EDFs from Amazon of varying quality from ok to DOA. This one is different. First, it not only works but came perfectly balanced. It's more compact than all the other 50mm EDFs I purchased. It has mounting tabs on the housing, which is one-piece not two. I think they are using the same blade geometry as the rest but the fan is set back the correct distance from the induction lip to be most effective and quiet, not just "in there somewhere." They even went to the trouble to silk screen the spiral on the diffuser and logo on the housing. My only complaint is that the stator vanes are straight instead of slightly angled or curved, but that would necessitate CW and CCW versions, and besides, all the other brands on Amazon are straight as well. I'll buy more of these!

I have not gotten it to work
What I liked about this was that it was the perfect size for my rc f16.What I didn’t like was that it didn’t come with a esc,a battery, or receiver and transmitter.overall it was a great experience to learn from.

Nice quiet 50mm fan unit. Has Integrated inlet lip.
Nice fan unit. Very quiet in the air and works well. I used this in a 3D printed EDF RC model. Integrated fan lip so if you need to remove it you have to cut it off. I used a 4S 2200 lipo with a 40 amp ESC and get about 3 minutes of full throttle so pulls about 40 amps.

Mechanical mounts are a tad bit odd. Please note: the brushless motor you see in the image that hangs off the back of the Fan DOES SPIN. Makes interfacing with it mechanically a bit weird. Take note of this feature if you plan to test it in your hands
